As a result of the successful project at Knutsford Green, Building
components were again approached by Wirral Partnership Homes. On
this occasion it was to provide a M.A.P for a 40 year old woman with M.S
The client was finding it increasingly difficult for her to access her
bathroom and bedroom as they are located on the first floor of her house.
After again working with Steve Johnston of W.P.H to identify the clients
needs. The M.A.P was designed to accommodate a wet room with
disabled facilities and a bedroom, that could be accessed from the
ground floor of the home.

The wet room was fitted with a full Doc-M pack

Manufacture
The M.A.P is constructed from lightweight steel to meet all current
building regulations and is a structural entity.
In total the M.A.P contained 180mm of insulation, exceeding all U-value
regulations.

Installation
The M.A.P arrived onsite at 9am,
accompanied by the crane.
At 10:00 am the lift began, and
after negotiating overhead
telephone cables that supplied the
property, the M.A.P was threaded
into position shortly after.
