Quick Overview
on AnsHealth
and EpostRx
Company History
Established in March 2001, AdvanceNet Health Solutions
(ANSHealth) has a track record of successful research,
development and application of new technologies that
target the evolving pharmacy market. Our staff boosts
over 30 years experience in software development and
integration, prescription delivery and dispensing.
The founders of ANS previously owned a pharmacy management
software company named Flux Technology Solutions. Flux was
founded in 1997. The flagship product, NextRx, was adopted by four
mail service clients in 1999. Flux also provided the architecture for a
1,500 store retail chain (Lloyd’s Pharmacy) in the UK.
Flux was sold to TechRx in 2000.

ePostRx Product History
ePostRx was originally architected as a middle-ware translating
technology to facilitate e-prescribing between legacy pharmacy
systems. Due to the slow adoption of electronic prescribing, customer
requests prompted ANS to build a pharmacy management system
around the core middle-ware product.
In May 2006 to spur company growth and gain instant market share
ANS released ePostRx as an open source application. Since the open
source release ANS has installed eight customers.

Open Source Technology
“Open source is a development method for software that
harnesses the power of distributed peer review and
transparency of process. The promise of open source is
better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility, lower cost,
and an end to predatory vendor lock-in.”
