For the Unbeliever

God's Wrath

: This is a parallel to the climax of the judgment inflicted on Egypt. In the end, judgment will be inflicted on the nations who have killed the saints and the prophets.

For the Jew For the Christian

Introduces Elijah

: The Hebrews understood Elijah would announce the coming of the Messiah, before the great and terrible day of the Lord. The 4th cup alludes to the appearing of Elijah (one of the two witnesses who will appear in Israel at the beginning of the 7 Year Tribulation).

Consummation

: The bride of Christ will be brought to the Father's house for the marriage consummation (where the bride and groom would traditionally spend 7 consecutive days together for nisu'in or consummation stage). The 7 days parallels the 7 Years of Tribulation which will be playing out on earth. After that, the bride and groom attend the marriage supper after they are "legally" married.

Perry Stone teaches that The
