Step 1
Click on Windows
Start button (lower left
corner of your screen)

Go to Control Panel
on your computer.
Click on Printers

Click on Add Printer

Double Click ADD
PRINTER or Local
Printer

Step 5
Click on Have Disk on
bottom right of add
printer box.

Click BROWSE to
locate installation files

Step 7
Select CD as the
source

Step 8
You now have 5-6
folders listed by
Windows, choose the
appropriate fold for
the operating system
that you are running,
click OPEN, then O.K.

Step 9
In Add Printer Wizard
Dialog Box, SELECT
your Designjet Model
then click NEXT,

Step 10
Name of the printer
will appear – Please
leave default name,
select NEXT

Step 11
“Do you want to print
a test page” If the
plotter is hooked up &
ready, click YES,
otherwise click NO
Select Finish,
Windows XP and
Vista will give a
warning message
“Continue Anyways”
