Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
(Lead: Prof. A Ayoub and Prof. B Khambay)
Hands-on experience of 2D & 3D computerised
prediction planning. Delegates will work through a
number of different case scenarios at their own work
station.
Maxillofacial Technology
(Lead: Mr. F Walker)
Recording of face bow registration using a new,
improved and validated technique as well as
demonstration of model surgery. Introduction to 3D
Physical and virtual skull model surgery, including
techniques for replacing the distorted dentition.
Orthodontic
(Lead: Mr. P Benington)
Hands-on experience of pre-surgical tooth orthodontic
tooth movements in different case scenarios using
specially made typodonts.
Psychology
(Lead: Dr. R Crawford)
Direct experience of psychological assessment with
Discussion of factors influencing patient treatment
and management. Actors will role-play three different
scenarios.
Navigation
(Lead: Prof. C Marchetti and Dr. A Bianchi)
Demonstration of navigation to improve the precision
of orthognathic surgery.
3D & 4D Facial Capture
(Lead: Dr . C Urquhart & Dr. X Ju)
Static and dynamic 3D and 4D facial captures will be
demonstrated. The analyses will be presented and
discussed.
Poster Exhibition
