Key Findings of Annual Audit

Skills – the technical skills of trained evaluators need to be reinforced
and maintained
•
Understanding – a better understanding of the JES process, and the
relationship between work value calculation and remuneration
outcomes, needs to exist
•
Stakeholder Engagement – more active engagement of relevant
stakeholders in the JES process is necessary to ensure that
evaluators have a comprehensive understanding of roles
•
Consistency & Rigour – guidelines and processes need to be upheld
to ensure that the JES remains a robust system.

Information Sessions - Conduct information sessions for:
1. evaluators to provide methodology updates
2. NTPS employees to raise awareness of JES
•
Benchmarking Procedures - Ensure correct application of the
benchmarking procedures to reduce prevalence of inappropriate
benchmarking application
•
Transparency & Trust – Ensure the agency representative involved in the
JES panel makes direct contact with the supervisor and/or incumbent of
the position under review
