In the Name of God,
Lord of Mercy and Lord of Grace
The word ‫ االحسان‬means:
Acts of kindness,
to do the goodly

Themes in the Quran
There are a good many themes in the Holy
Quran. One of these themes is ‫االحسان‬
References to ‫( احسان‬Good Works, Kindness,
or simply Goodly) appear in about 44 Ayahs
These references have variable flavors of
meaning and connotations
The word ‫ احسان‬comes in red and its English
translation comes in red too.
Looking at the entire theme gives a better
understanding of what the message entails.

83 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
َ ‫َوإِ ْذ أَ َخ ْذ َنا ِمي َث‬
And (remember) when We made a covenant
‫اق َب ِني‬
with the Children of Israel, saying:
‫َّللا‬
َ ‫إِسْ َرا ِئي َل َال َتعْ ُب ُد‬
َ َ ‫ون إِ َال‬
‫ْن إِحْ َسا ًنا َو ِذي‬
ِ ‫َو ِب ْال َوالِ َدي‬
Worship none except Allah,
ْ ‫ْالقُرْ َب ٰى َو ْال َي َتا َم ٰى َو‬
‫ين‬
‫ك‬
‫ا‬
‫س‬
‫م‬
‫ال‬
ِ
َ
َ
ِ
and be kind to parents and to kindred and
َ‫اس حُسْ ًنا َوأ‬
َ ‫َوقُولُوا لِل‬
‫ُوا‬
‫م‬
‫ي‬
‫ق‬
‫ن‬
ِ
ِ
to orphans and the needy, and speak
ُ ‫الص َََل َة َوآ ُتوا ال َز َكا َة‬
‫م‬
‫ث‬
َ
kindly to mankind; and establish worship
ً ِ‫َت َولَ ْي ُت ْم إِ َال َقل‬
ُ ‫يَل ِم ْن ُك ْم َوأَ ْن‬
‫م‬
‫ت‬
ْ
and pay the poor-due.
‫ُون‬
َ ‫مُعْ ِرض‬
Then, after that, ye slid back, save a few
of you, being averse.

111--112 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
And they say: "None shall enter
Paradise unless he be a Jew or a
Christian." Those are their vain desires.
Say: "Produce your proof if ye are
truthful."
Nay, but whosoever surrenders his
purpose to Allah while doing good,
his reward is with his Lord;
and there shall no fear come upon them
neither shall they grieve.
ْ‫َو َقالُوا لَنْ َي ْد ُخ َل ْال َج َن َة إِ َال َمن‬
‫ك‬
َ ‫ار ٰى ۗ ِت ْل‬
َ ‫ص‬
َ ‫ان هُو ًدا أَ ْو َن‬
َ ‫َك‬
ْ‫أَ َما ِن ُّي ُه ْم ۗ قُ ْل َها ُتوا بُرْ َها َن ُك ْم إِن‬
‫ين‬
َ ِ‫صا ِدق‬
َ ‫ُك ْن ُت ْم‬
‫لِل َوه َُو‬
ِ َ ِ ‫َبلَ ٰى َمنْ أَسْ لَ َم َوجْ َه ُه‬
‫مُحْ ِسن َفلَ ُه أَجْ ُرهُ ِع ْن َد َرب ِه َو َال‬
‫ون‬
َ ‫َخ ْوف َعلَي ِْه ْم َو َال ُه ْم َيحْ َز ُن‬

178 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
O ye who believe! Retaliation is prescribed
for you in the matter of the murdered;
the freeman for the freeman, and the slave
for the slave, and the female for the female.
And for him who is forgiven somewhat by
his injured brother, prosecution according
to usage and payment unto him in
kindness.
This is an alleviation and a mercy from your
Lord. He who transgresses after this will
have a painful doom.
‫ب‬
َ ‫َيا أَ ُّي َها الَ ِذي َن آ َم ُنوا ُك ِت‬
‫صاصُ ِفي‬
َ ‫َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْال ِق‬
‫ْال َق ْتلَى ۖ ْال ُحرُّ ِب ْالحُر‬
‫َو ْال َع ْب ُد ِب ْال َع ْب ِد َو ْاْل ُ ْن َث ٰى‬
ْ‫ِب ْاْل ُ ْن َث ٰى ۚ َف َمنْ ُعفِ َي لَ ُه ِمن‬
‫أَ ِخي ِه َشيْ ء َفات َباع‬
‫ُوف َوأَدَاء إِلَ ْي ِه‬
ِ ‫ِب ْال َمعْ ر‬
ْ‫ك َت ْخفِيف ِمن‬
َ ِ‫ِبإِحْ َسان ۗ ٰ َذل‬
‫َرب ُك ْم َو َرحْ َمة ۗ َف َم ِن‬
‫ك َفلَ ُه‬
َ ِ‫اعْ َت َد ٰى َبعْ َد ٰ َذل‬
‫َع َذاب أَلِيم‬

201-202 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
And of them is he who says:
"Our Lord! Give unto us in this life that
which is good and in the Hereafter that
which is good, and guard us from the doom
of Fire."
To these will be allotted what they have
earned; and Allah is quick in account.
‫َو ِم ْن ُه ْم َمنْ َيقُو ُل َر َب َنا‬
‫آ ِت َنا ِفي ال ُّد ْن َيا َح َس َن ًة َو ِفي‬
‫خ َر ِة َح َس َن ًة َوقِ َنا‬
ِ ‫ْاْل‬
‫ار‬
َ ‫َع َذ‬
ِ ‫اب ال َن‬
‫صيب ِم َما‬
ِ ‫ك لَ ُه ْم َن‬
َ ‫أُو ٰلَ ِئ‬
َ ‫َك َسبُوا ۚ َو‬
‫َّللا ُ َس ِري ُع‬
‫ب‬
ِ ‫ْال ِح َسا‬

236-238 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
It is no sin for you if ye divorce women while
yet ye have not touched them,
nor appointed unto them a portion.
Provide for them, the rich according to his
means, and the poor according to his
means, a fair provision.
This is an obligation on those who do good.

Be guardians of your prayers, and of the
midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion
to Allah.
ْ‫َال ُج َنا َح َعلَ ْي ُك ْم إِن‬
‫َطلَ ْق ُت ُم الن َسا َء َما لَ ْم‬
‫ضوا‬
ُ ‫َت َمسُّوهُنَ أَ ْو َت ْف ِر‬
َ‫ض ًة ۚ َو َمتعُوهُن‬
َ ‫لَهُنَ َف ِري‬
ُ‫ُوس ِع َق َد ُره‬
ِ ‫َعلَى ْالم‬
ُ‫َو َعلَى ْال ُم ْق ِت ِر َق َد ُره‬
‫ُوف ۖ َح ًقا‬
ِ ‫َم َتاعًا ِب ْال َمعْ ر‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َعلَى ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬

‫ت‬
َ ‫ظوا َعلَى ال‬
ِ ‫صلَ َوا‬
‫َوالص َََل ِة ْالوُ سْ َط ٰى‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫لِل َقا ِن ِت‬
ِ َ ِ ‫وقُومُوا‬8َ
244-245 ‫ آية‬- 2 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة البقرة‬
Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know
that Allah Hears and knows all things.
‫َّللا‬
ِ َ ‫يل‬
ِ ‫َو َقا ِتلُوا فِي َس ِب‬
‫َّللا َس ِميع َعلِيم‬
َ َ َ‫َواعْ لَمُوا أَن‬
Who is it that will lend unto Allah a goodly
loan, which Allah will double unto his
credit and multiply it many times?
It is Allah that gives you Little or Plenty,
and to Him shall be your return.
‫َّللا‬
َ َ ُ‫َمنْ َذا الَ ِذي ُي ْق ِرض‬
‫اع َف ُه لَ ُه‬
ِ ‫ض‬
َ ‫َقرْ ضًا َح َس ًنا َف ُي‬
َ ‫ير ًة ۚ َو‬
ُ‫َّللا ُ َي ْق ِبض‬
َ ‫أَضْ َعا ًفا َك ِث‬
ُ ‫َو َي ْبس‬
‫ُط َوإِلَ ْي ِه ُترْ َجعُو َن‬

133-134 ‫ آية‬- 3 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة آل عمران‬
ْ‫ارعُوا إِلَ ٰى َم ْغفِ َرة ِمن‬
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord;
ِ ‫َو َس‬
and a Garden, the extensiveness of which
‫ض َها‬
ُ ْ‫َرب ُك ْم َو َج َنة َعر‬
ْ ‫ات َو ْاْلَرْ ضُ أ ُ ِع َد‬
ُ ‫ال َس َم َاو‬
is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is
‫ت‬
prepared for those who guard (against
‫ين‬
َ ِ‫لِ ْل ُم َتق‬
evil).
‫ون فِي ال َسرَ ا ِء‬
َ ُ‫ين ُي ْنفِق‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
Those who spend freely, whether in
ْ ‫َوالضَرَ ا ِء َو‬
َ
‫ين‬
‫م‬
‫اظ‬
‫ك‬
‫ال‬
ِ
ِ
َ
prosperity or in adversity; who restrain
ْ ‫ْال َغ ْي َظ َو‬
َ ‫ين َع ِن ال‬
ۗ
‫اس‬
‫ن‬
‫ف‬
‫ا‬
‫ع‬
‫ال‬
ِ
َ
َ
ِ
anger, and are forgiving toward mankind;
َ ‫َو‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َّللاُ ُيحِبُّ ا ْلمُحْ ِس ِن‬
for Allah loves those who do good.

147-148 ‫ آية‬- 3 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة آل عمران‬
All that they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive ‫ان َق ْولَ ُه ْم إِ َال أَنْ َقالُوا‬
َ ‫َو َما َك‬
ْ ‫َر َب َنا‬
us our sins and anything We may have
‫اغ ِفرْ لَ َنا ُذ ُنو َب َنا‬
ْ ‫َوإِسْ َرا َف َنا فِي أَ ْم ِر َنا َو َثب‬
done that transgressed our duty: Establish ‫ت‬
our feet firmly, and help us against those
‫صرْ َنا َعلَى‬
ُ ‫أَ ْقدَا َم َنا َوا ْن‬
that resist Faith."
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْال َق ْو ِم ْال َكافِ ِر‬
َ ‫َفآ َتا ُه ُم‬
‫اب ال ُّد ْن َيا‬
َ ‫َّللا ُ َث َو‬
So Allah gave them the reward of the
َ ‫ب ا ْْل ِخ َر ِة ۗ َو‬
ِ ‫َوحُسْ َن َث َوا‬
world and the good reward of the
ُ ‫َّللا‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ُيحِبُّ ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
Hereafter.
Allah loves those whose deeds are good.

171-172 ‫ آية‬- 3 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة آل عمران‬
They rejoice on account of favor from Allah
and His Grace, and that Allah will not
waste the reward of the believers
As for those who responded (at Ohod) to the
call of Allah and the Messenger after the
wound had befallen them,
‫َّللا‬
ِ َ ‫ُون ِب ِنعْ َمة ِم َن‬
َ ‫َيسْ َتب ِْشر‬
‫ضي ُع‬
ِ ‫َّللا َال ُي‬
َ َ َ‫َو َفضْ ل َوأَن‬
‫أَجْ َر ْالم ُْؤ ِم ِني َن‬
‫لِل‬
ِ َ ِ ‫ين اسْ َت َجابُوا‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
‫ُول ِمنْ َبعْ ِد َما‬
ِ ‫َوالرَ س‬
ۚ ‫صا َب ُه ُم ْال َقرْ ُح‬
َ َ‫أ‬
those among them who do good to others
and guard against evil shall have a great
reward.
‫ين أَحْ َس ُنوا ِم ْن ُه ْم َوا َت َق ْوا‬
َ ‫لِلَ ِذ‬
‫أَجْ ر َع ِظيم‬

195 ‫ آية‬- 3 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة آل عمران‬
So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I ‫اب لَ ُه ْم َر ُّب ُه ْم أَني َال‬
َ ‫َفاسْ َت َج‬
will not waste the work of a worker among ْ‫ضي ُع َع َم َل َعا ِمل ِم ْن ُك ْم ِمن‬
ِ ُ‫أ‬
ْ‫ض ُك ْم ِمن‬
you, whether male or female, the one of
ُ ْ‫َذ َكر أَ ْو أ ُ ْن َث ٰى ۖ َبع‬
you being from the other;
‫اجرُوا‬
َ ‫ين َه‬
َ ‫َبعْ ض ۖ َفالَ ِذ‬
ُ ‫َوأ‬
ْ
ْ‫ن‬
‫م‬
‫ه‬
‫ار‬
‫ي‬
‫د‬
‫م‬
‫ُوا‬
‫ج‬
‫ر‬
‫خ‬
ِ
ِ
ِ
َ
ْ
they, therefore, who fled and were turned
ِ
ِ
ُ ‫َوأ‬
ُ
ُ
َ
َ
‫وا‬
‫ل‬
‫ت‬
‫ا‬
‫ق‬
‫و‬
‫ي‬
‫ل‬
‫ي‬
‫ب‬
‫س‬
‫ي‬
‫ف‬
‫وا‬
‫وذ‬
ِ
ِ
َ
َ
ِ
out of their homes and persecuted in My
‫َوقُ ِتلُوا َْل ُ َكف َرنَ َع ْن ُه ْم‬
way and who fought and were slain,
َ ‫َسي َئا ِت ِه ْم َو َْل ُ ْد ِخلَ َن ُه ْم َج‬
‫ات‬
‫ن‬
I will expiate their misdeeds, and I will
ْ َ‫َتجْ ِري ِمنْ َتحْ ِت َها ْاْل‬
‫ر‬
ُ
‫ا‬
‫ه‬
‫ن‬
َ
make them enter blissful gardens beneath
َ ‫َّللا ۗ َو‬
َ ‫َث َوابًا ِمنْ ِع ْن ِد‬
‫َّللا‬
ِ
ُ
which rivers flow; a reward from Allah,
َ ُ‫ِع ْن َدهُ حُسْ ن‬
‫ب‬
‫ا‬
‫و‬
‫الث‬
ِ
َ
and with Allah is yet the best reward.

36 ‫ آية‬- 4 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النساء‬
And serve Allah and do not associate any
‫َّللا َو َال ُت ْش ِر ُكوا‬
َ َ ‫َواعْ ُب ُدوا‬
with Him and be good to the parents and to
‫ِب ِه َش ْي ًئا ۖ َو ِب ْال َوالِ َد ْي ِن‬
the near of kin and the orphans and the
‫إِحْ َسا ًنا َو ِب ِذي ْالقُرْ َب ٰى‬
needy and the neighbor of your kin and the
‫ين‬
ِ ‫َو ْال َي َتا َم ٰى َو ْال َم َسا ِك‬
alien neighbor, and the companion in a
‫ار ِذي ْالقُرْ َب ٰى‬
ِ ‫َو ْال َج‬
journey and the wayfarer and those whom ‫ب‬
ِ ‫ب َوالصَا ِح‬
ِ ‫ار ْال ُج ُن‬
ِ ‫َو ْال َج‬
your right hands possess;
‫ب َوا ْب ِن الس َِبي ِل َو َما‬
ِ ‫ِب ْال َج ْن‬
ْ ‫َملَ َك‬
‫َّللا َال‬
َ َ َ‫ت أَ ْي َما ُن ُك ْم ۗ إِن‬
surely Allah does not love him who is
‫ان م ُْخ َت ًاال‬
َ ‫ُيحِبُّ َمنْ َك‬
arrogant, boastful;
‫َف ُخورً ا‬

124-125 ‫ آية‬- 4 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النساء‬
And whoever does good deeds, whether
male or female, and is a believer-- these
shall enter Paradise, and they shall not be
dealt with a jot unjustly.
‫ت‬
ِ ‫َو َمنْ َيعْ َم ْل ِم َن الصَالِ َحا‬
‫ِمنْ َذ َكر أَ ْو أ ُ ْن َث ٰى َوه َُو‬
‫ون‬
َ ُ ‫ك َي ْد ُخل‬
َ ‫م ُْؤ ِمن َفأُو ٰلَ ِئ‬
‫ُون َنقِيرً ا‬
َ ‫ْال َج َن َة َو َال ُي ْظلَم‬
Who can be better in religion than one who
submits his self to Allah, does good, and
follows the way of Abraham the true in
Faith?
For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.
ْ‫َو َمنْ أَحْ َسنُ ِدي ًنا ِممَن‬
‫لِل َوه َُو‬
ِ َ ِ ‫أَسْ لَ َم َوجْ َه ُه‬
‫مُحْ ِسن َوا َت َب َع ِملَ َة إِ ْب َرا ِهي َم‬
َ ‫َح ِني ًفا ۗ َوا َت َخ َذ‬
‫َّللاُ إِ ْب َرا ِهي َم‬
ً ِ‫َخل‬
‫يَل‬

13 ‫ آية‬- 5 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة المائدة‬
(About the Jews)
And because of their breaking their covenant,
We have cursed them and made their hearts
hard.
They change words from their context and
forget a part of that whereof they were
admonished.
Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery
from all, save a few of them.
But bear with them and pardon them.
Lo! Allah loves the kindly.
‫ض ِه ْم ِمي َثا َق ُه ْم‬
ِ ‫َف ِب َما َن ْق‬
‫لَ َع َنا ُه ْم َو َج َع ْل َنا قُلُو َب ُه ْم‬
‫ون ا ْل َكلِ َم‬
ِ ‫َق‬
َ ُ‫اس َي ًة ۖ ي َُحرف‬
‫اض ِع ِه ۙ َو َن ُسوا‬
ِ ‫َعنْ َم َو‬
ً ‫َح‬
ۚ ‫ظا ِممَا ُذكرُوا ِب ِه‬
‫َو َال َت َزا ُل َت َطلِ ُع َعلَ ٰى‬
ً ِ‫َخا ِئ َنة ِم ْن ُه ْم إِ َال َقل‬
‫يَل‬
‫ِم ْن ُه ْم ۖ َفاعْ فُ َع ْن ُه ْم‬
ُّ‫َّللا ُيحِب‬
َ َ َ‫َواصْ َفحْ ۚ إِن‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬

84-85 ‫ آية‬- 5 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة المائدة‬
How should we not believe in Allah and ‫الِل َو َما َجا َء َنا‬
ِ َ ‫َو َما لَ َنا َال ُن ْؤ ِمنُ ِب‬
what has come to us of the Truth. And
‫ِم َن ْال َحق َو َن ْط َم ُع أَنْ ي ُْد ِخلَ َنا‬
we hope that our Lord will bring us in
‫ين‬
َ ‫َر ُّب َنا َم َع ْال َق ْو ِم الصَالِ ِح‬
along with righteous folk?
َ ‫َفأ َ َثا َب ُه ُم‬
‫َّللاُ ِب َما َقالُوا َج َنات‬
Therefore Allah rewarded them on
‫َتجْ ِري ِمنْ َتحْ ِت َها ْاْلَ ْن َها ُر‬
account of what they said,
‫ك َج َزا ُء‬
َ ِ‫ين فِي َها ۚ َو ٰ َذل‬
َ ‫َخالِ ِد‬
with blissful gardens in which rivers
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
flow to abide in them;
and this is the reward of those who do
good.

92-93 ‫ آية‬- 5 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة المائدة‬
Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and
beware of evil: if ye do turn back, know ye
that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim
the message in the clearest manner.
‫َّللا َوأَ ِطيعُوا‬
َ َ ‫َوأَ ِطيعُوا‬
ْ‫الرَ سُو َل َواحْ َذرُوا ۚ َفإِن‬
‫َت َولَ ْي ُت ْم َفاعْ لَمُوا أَ َن َما َعلَ ٰى‬
ُ‫َرسُولِ َنا ْال َب ََل ُ ُغ ْالم ُِبين‬
On those who believe and do righteous
‫ين آ َم ُنوا‬
َ ‫ْس َعلَى الَ ِذ‬
َ ‫لَي‬
deeds there is no blame for what they ate (in
‫ت‬
ِ ‫َو َع ِملُوا الصَالِ َحا‬
the past), when they are pious, and believe,
‫ُج َناح فِي َما َط ِعمُوا إِ َذا َما‬
and do righteous deeds,‫ا َت َق ْوا َوآ َم ُنوا َو َع ِملُوا‬
‫ت ُث َم ا َت َق ْوا‬
ِ ‫الصَالِ َحا‬
(or) again, they are pious and believe,ُ ‫َوآ َم ُنوا‬
َ
َ
ْ
‫ا‬
‫و‬
‫ق‬
‫ت‬
‫ا‬
‫م‬
‫ث‬
َ
(or) again, they are pious and do good. For
َ ‫َوأَحْ َس ُنوا ۗ َو‬
ُّ‫َّللا ُ ُي ِحب‬
Allah loves those who do good.

َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
151 ‫ آية‬- 6 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة اْلنعام‬
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah has
prohibited you from": Join not anything as
equal with Him;
and be good to your parents; kill not your
children on a plea of want;- We provide
sustenance for you and for them;come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether
open or secret;
take not life which Allah has made sacred,
except by way of justice and law:
thus does He command you, that ye may
learn wisdom.
‫قُ ْل َت َعالَ ْوا أَ ْت ُل َما َحرَ َم‬
‫َر ُّب ُك ْم َعلَ ْي ُك ْم ۖ أَ َال ُت ْش ِر ُكوا‬
‫ِب ِه َش ْي ًئا ۖ َو ِب ْال َوالِ َد ْي ِن‬
‫إِحْ َسا ًنا ۖ َو َال َت ْق ُتلُوا‬
ُ‫أَ ْو َال َد ُك ْم ِمنْ إِم ََْلق ۖ َنحْ ن‬
‫َنرْ ُزقُ ُك ْم َوإِيَا ُه ْم ۖ َو َال‬
‫ش َما‬
َ ‫َت ْق َربُوا ْال َف َوا ِح‬
ۖ ‫َظ َه َر ِم ْن َها َو َما َب َط َن‬
‫س الَ ِتي‬
َ ‫َو َال َت ْق ُتلُوا ال َن ْف‬
َ ‫َحرَ َم‬
‫َّللا ُ إِ َال ِب ْال َحق ۚ ٰ َذلِ ُك ْم‬
‫ون‬
َ ُ‫َوصَا ُك ْم ِب ِه لَ َعلَ ُك ْم َتعْ قِل‬

160-161 ‫ آية‬- 6 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة اْلنعام‬
Whoso brings a good deed will receive
tenfold the like thereof,
while whoso brings an ill-deed he shall be
recompensed only with the like of it; and
they will not be wronged.
Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a
way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the
path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith,
and he (certainly) joined not gods with
Allah."
‫َمنْ َجا َء ِب ْال َح َس َن ِة َفلَ ُه َع ْش ُر‬
ۖ ‫أَ ْم َثالِ َها‬
‫َو َمنْ َجا َء ِبال َسي َئ ِة َف ََل‬
‫يُجْ َز ٰى إِ َال ِم ْثلَ َها َو ُه ْم َال‬
‫ُون‬
َ ‫ي ُْظلَم‬
‫قُ ْل إِ َن ِني َهدَا ِني َربي إِلَ ٰى‬
‫ص َراط مُسْ َتقِيم ِدي ًنا قِ َيمًا‬
ِ
‫ِملَ َة إِب َْرا ِهي َم َح ِني ًفا ۚ َو َما‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ان ِم َن ْال ُم ْش ِر ِك‬
َ ‫َك‬
20
55-56 ‫ آية‬- 7 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة اْلعراف‬
Call on your Lord with humility and in
private: for Allah does not love those who
trespass beyond bounds.
And do not make mischief in the earth after
its reformation, and call on Him
apprehensively and in hope;
surely the mercy of Allah is nigh to those
who do good (to others).
‫ضرُّ عًا‬
َ ‫ْادعُوا َر َب ُك ْم َت‬
ُّ‫َو ُخ ْف َي ًة ۚ إِ َن ُه َال ُيحِب‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُعْ َت ِد‬
‫ض‬
ِ ْ‫َو َال ُت ْف ِس ُدوا فِي ْاْلَر‬
ُ‫َبعْ َد إِصْ ََل ِح َها َو ْادعُوه‬
ۚ ‫َخ ْو ًفا َو َط َمعًا‬
َ ‫إِنَ َرحْ َم‬
‫َّللا َق ِريب ِم َن‬
َِ ‫ت‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬

156 ‫ آية‬- 7 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة اْلعراف‬
"And ordain for us the good, in this life
‫َوا ْك ُتبْ لَ َنا فِي ٰ َه ِذ ِه ال ُّد ْن َيا‬
and in the Hereafter:
‫َح َس َن ًة َو ِفي ْاْل ِخ َر ِة إِ َنا ه ُْد َنا‬
‫صيبُ ِب ِه‬
ِ ُ ‫ْك ۚ َقا َل َع َذ ِابي أ‬
َ ‫إِلَي‬
for we have turned unto Thee."
ْ ‫َمنْ أَ َشا ُء ۖ َو َرحْ َم ِتي َو ِس َع‬
‫ت‬
He said: "With My punishment I visit
َ‫ُك َل َشيْ ء ۚ َف َسأ َ ْك ُت ُب َها لِل‬
‫ين‬
‫ذ‬
ِ
َ
whom I will; but My mercy extends to all
ُ ‫ون َوي ُْؤ‬
ُ‫َي َتق‬
َ ‫ون‬
َ ‫الز َكا‬
‫ة‬
‫ت‬
َ
َ
things.
‫ون‬
َ ‫ين ُه ْم ِبآ َيا ِت َنا ي ُْؤ ِم ُن‬
َ ‫َوالَ ِذ‬
That (mercy) I shall ordain for those who do
right, and practice charity, and those who
believe in Our revelations;

About Benu Israel)
And when it was said unto them:
Dwell in this township and eat there from
whence ye will, and say "Repentance,"
and enter the gate prostrate;
We shall forgive you your sins; We shall
increase (reward) for the right-doers.
But the transgressors among them
changed the word from that which had
been given them so we sent on them a
plague from heaven. For that they
repeatedly transgressed
‫َوإِ ْذ قِي َل لَ ُه ُم اسْ ُك ُنوا ٰ َه ِذ ِه‬
ُ ‫ْال َقرْ َي َة َو ُكلُوا ِم ْن َها َحي‬
‫ْث‬
‫ِش ْئ ُت ْم َوقُولُوا ِح َطة َو ْاد ُخلُوا‬
‫اب سُجَ ًدا َن ْغفِرْ لَ ُك ْم‬
َ ‫ْال َب‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َخ ِطي َئا ِت ُك ْم ۚ َس َن ِزي ُد ْال ُمحْ ِس ِن‬
‫ين َظلَمُوا ِم ْن ُه ْم‬
َ ‫َف َب َد َل الَ ِذ‬
‫َق ْو ًال َغي َْر الَ ِذي قِي َل لَ ُه ْم‬
‫َفأَرْ َس ْل َنا َعلَي ِْه ْم ِرجْ ًزا ِم َن‬
‫ون‬
َ ‫ال َس َما ِء ِب َما َكا ُنوا َي ْظلِ ُم‬

90-91 ‫ آية‬- 9 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة التوبة‬
And the defaulters from among the
‫ُون ِم َن‬
َ ‫َو َجا َء ْال ُم َعذر‬
dwellers of the desert came that
‫ب لِ ُي ْؤ َذ َن لَ ُه ْم‬
ِ ‫ْاْلَعْ َرا‬
permission may be given to them and they
‫َّللا‬
َ ‫َو َق َع َد الَ ِذ‬
َ َ ‫ين َك َذبُوا‬
sat (at home) who lied to Allah and His
ُ‫ُصيب‬
ِ ‫َو َرسُولَ ُه ۚ َسي‬
Messenger; a painful chastisement shall
‫ين َك َف ُروا ِم ْن ُه ْم َع َذاب‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
afflict those of them who disbelieved.
‫أَلِيم‬
‫ض َع َفا ِء َو َال‬
ُّ ‫ْس َعلَى ال‬
َ ‫لَي‬
It shall be no crime in the weak, nor in the
‫ض ٰى َو َال َعلَى‬
َ ْ‫َعلَى ْال َمر‬
sick, nor in those who do not find what
‫ون َما‬
‫ين َال َي‬
َ ‫ج ُد‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
ِ
they should spend, so long as they are
‫صحُوا‬
َ ‫ون َح َرج إِ َذا َن‬
َ ُ‫ُي ْنفِق‬
sincere to Allah and His Messenger; there
‫لِل َو َرسُولِ ِه ۚ َما َعلَى‬
َِِ
is no way to blame against the doers of
ۚ ‫ين ِمنْ َس ِبيل‬
َ ‫مُحْ ِس ِن‬24‫ْال‬
good; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful;
َ ‫َو‬
‫َّللا ُ َغفُور َر ِحيم‬
120 ‫ آية‬- 9 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة التوبة‬
… this is because there afflicts them not
‫ُصي ُب ُه ْم‬
ِ ‫ك ِبأ َ َن ُه ْم َال ي‬
َ ِ‫… ٰ َذل‬
thirst or fatigue or hunger in Allah's way, nor
‫صب َو َال‬
َ ‫َظ َمأ َو َال َن‬
do they tread a path which enrages the
‫َّللا‬
ِ َ ‫يل‬
َ ‫َم ْخ َم‬
ِ ‫صة فِي َس ِب‬
ُ ‫ون َم ْو ِط ًئا َي ِغ‬
unbelievers, nor do they attain from the
‫يظ‬
َ ‫َو َال َي َط ُئ‬
ْ‫ون ِمن‬
enemy what they attain, but a good work is
َ ُ‫ار َو َال َي َنال‬
َ ‫ْال ُك َف‬
written down to them on account of it;
‫ب لَ ُه ْم ِب ِه‬
َ ‫َع ُدوٍّ َني ًَْل إِ َال ُك ِت‬
‫َّللا َال‬
َ ‫َع َمل‬
َ َ َ‫صالِح ۚ إِن‬
surely Allah does not waste the reward of
‫ُضي ُع أَجْ َر ْالمُحْ ِس ِني َن‬
ِ ‫ي‬
the doers of good;
25-26 ‫ آية‬- 10 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة يونس‬
And Allah summons to the abode of peace
and guides whom He pleases into the
right path.
َ ‫َو‬
‫َار ال َس ََل ِم‬
ِ ‫َّللاُ َي ْدعُو إِلَ ٰى د‬
‫َو َي ْه ِدي َمنْ َي َشا ُء إِلَ ٰى‬
‫ص َراط مُسْ َتقِيم‬
ِ
For those who do good is goodly reward
and more in measure;
No disgrace nor shame shall cover their
faces!
They are the dwellers of the garden of
bliss; in it they shall abide for good.
‫ين أَحْ َس ُنوا ْالحُسْ َن ٰى‬
َ ‫لِلَ ِذ‬
‫َو ِز َيادَة ۖ َو َال َيرْ َه ُق‬
ۚ ‫وُ جُو َه ُه ْم َق َتر َو َال ِذلَة‬
‫ك أَصْ َحابُ ْال َج َن ِة ۖ ُه ْم‬
َ ‫أُو ٰلَ ِئ‬
‫ون‬
َ ‫ِفي َها َخالِ ُد‬
26
113-114 ‫ آية‬- 11 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة هود‬
And do not incline to those who are
unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you
have no guardians besides Allah, then
you shall not be helped.
‫ين َظلَمُوا‬
َ ‫َو َال َترْ َك ُنوا إِلَى الَ ِذ‬
ْ‫َف َت َم َس ُك ُم ال َنا ُر َو َما لَ ُك ْم ِمن‬
‫َّللا ِمنْ أَ ْولِ َيا َء ُث َم َال‬
ِ َ ‫ون‬
ِ ‫ُد‬
‫ُون‬
َ ‫صر‬
َ ‫ُت ْن‬
Establish worship at the two ends of the
day and in some watches of the night.
Lo! good deeds annul ill-deeds. This is
reminder for the mindful.

‫ار‬
ِ ‫َوأقِ ِم الص َََل َة َط َر َفيِ ال َن َه‬
‫ت‬
ِ ‫َو ُزلَ ًفا ِم َن اللَ ْي ِل ۚ إِنَ ْال َح َس َنا‬
‫ك ِذ ْك َر ٰى‬
ِ ‫ي ُْذ ِهب َْن السَي َئا‬
َ ِ‫ت ۚ ٰ َذل‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫لِ َلذا ِك ِر‬

115-116 ‫ آية‬- 11 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة هود‬
And have patience, (O Muhammad), for verily
Allah will not lose the wages of the good
doers
‫َّللا َال‬
َ َ َ‫َواصْ ِبرْ َفإِن‬
‫ين‬
ِ ‫ي‬
َ ‫ُضي ُع أَجْ َر ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
ُ‫ان ِم َن ْالق‬
َ ‫َفلَ ْو َال‬

If only there had been among the
ُ‫ِمنْ َق ْبلِ ُك ْم أُول‬
‫ة‬
‫ي‬
‫ق‬

generations before you men possessing a
َ ‫َي ْن َه ْو َن َع ِن ْال‬
‫ي‬
‫ف‬
‫د‬
‫ا‬
‫س‬
‫ف‬
ِ
ِ
َ
remnant (of good sense) to warn (their
َ‫ْاْل‬
ً ِ‫ض إِ َال َقل‬
ْ‫َن‬
ْ‫ر‬
‫م‬
‫م‬
‫يَل‬
ِ
ِ
people) from corruption in the earth, as did a
َ ‫أَ ْن َج ْي َنا ِم ْن ُه ْم ۗ َوا‬
‫ع‬
‫ب‬
‫ت‬
َ
َ
few of those whom We saved from them! The
َ‫ال‬
ُ‫ين َظلَ ُموا َما أ ُ ْت ِرف‬
‫وا‬
‫ذ‬
ِ
َ
wrong-doers followed that by which they
ُ ‫فِي ِه َو َكا‬
ْ‫ج‬
‫ين‬
‫م‬
‫ر‬
‫م‬
ُ
‫وا‬
‫ن‬
ِ
َ
ِ
were made sapless, and were guilty.

35-36 ‫ آية‬- 12 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة يوسف‬
(About Yususf):
Then it occurred to them after they had seen
the signs that they should imprison him till a
time.
‫ُث َم َبدَا لَ ُه ْم ِمنْ َبعْ ِد َما‬
‫ت لَ َيسْ ُج ُن َن ُه‬
ِ ‫َرأَوُ ا ْاْل َيا‬
‫حين‬
ِ ‫َح َت ٰى‬
And two youths entered the prison with him.
One of them said: I saw myself pressing
wine.
And the other said: I saw myself carrying
bread on my head, of which birds ate.
Inform us of its interpretation; surely we see
you to be of the doers of good.
َ ‫َود‬
‫َخ َل َم َع ُه السجْ َن‬
‫ان ۖ َقا َل أَ َح ُد ُه َما إِني‬
ِ ‫َف َت َي‬
ۖ ‫ص ُر َخ ْمرً ا‬
ِ ْ‫أَ َرا ِني أَع‬
‫َو َقا َل ْاْل َخ ُر إِني أَ َرا ِني‬
‫أَحْ ِم ُل َف ْو َق َر ْأ ِسي ُخ ْب ًزا‬
َ ‫َتأْ ُك ُل‬
‫الط ْي ُر ِم ْن ُه ۖ َنب ْئ َنا‬
‫ك ِم َن‬
َ ‫تأْ ِويلِ ِه ۖ إِ َنا َن َرا‬29َ ‫ِب‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
54-56 ‫ آية‬- 12 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة يوسف‬
(About Yususf):
So the king said: Bring him to me, I will
choose him for myself. So when he had
spoken with him, he said: Surely you are in
our presence today an honorable, a faithful
one.
He said: Set me over the storehouses of
the land. Lo! I am a skilled custodian.
And thus did We give to Yusuf power in the
land-- he had mastery in it wherever he
liked; We send down Our mercy on whom
We please, and We do not waste the
reward of those who do good.
‫ك ا ْئ ُتو ِني ِب ِه‬
ُ ِ‫َو َقا َل ْال َمل‬
‫أَسْ َت ْخلِصْ ُه لِ َن ْف ِسي ۖ َفلَمَا‬
‫ك ْال َي ْو َم لَ َد ْي َنا‬
َ ‫َكلَ َم ُه َقا َل إِ َن‬
‘ ‫َم ِكين أَ ِمين‬
‫َقا َل اجْ َع ْل ِني َعلَ ٰى َخ َزا ِئ ِن‬
‫ض ۖ إِني َحفِيظ َعلِيم‬
ِ ْ‫ْاْلَر‬
‫ف فِي‬
َ ‫ك َم َك َنا لِيُو ُس‬
َ ِ‫َو َك ٰ َذل‬
ُ ‫ض َي َت َبوَ أ ُ ِم ْن َها َحي‬
‫ْث‬
ِ ْ‫ْاْلَر‬
‫صيبُ ِب َرحْ َم ِت َنا‬
ِ ‫َي َشا ُء ۚ ُن‬
ۖ ‫َمنْ َن َشا ُء‬

‫ضي ُع أجْ َر‬
ِ ‫َوال ن‬
‫ْالمُحْ سنين‬
78-79 ‫ آية‬- 12 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة يوسف‬
(About Yususf):
They said: "O exalted one! Behold! he has a
father, aged and venerable, who will grieve for
him; so take one of us in his place; for we see
that you are one of the doers of good.
‫َقالُوا َيا أَ ُّي َها ْال َع ِزي ُز‬
‫إِنَ لَ ُه أَبًا َشي ًْخا َك ِبيرً ا‬
‫َف ُخ ْذ أَ َح َد َنا َم َكا َن ُه ۖ إِ َنا‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ك ِم َن ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
َ ‫َن َرا‬
He said: Allah forbid that we should seize
except him with whom we found our property;
otherwise we would be the wrong-doers.
‫َّللا أَنْ َنأْ ُخ َذ‬
ِ َ ‫َقا َل َم َع َاذ‬
‫إِ َال َمنْ َو َج ْد َنا َم َتا َع َنا‬
‫ُون‬
َ ‫ِع ْن َدهُ إِ َنا إِ ًذا لَ َظالِم‬

89-90 ‫ آية‬- 16 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النحل‬
And on the day when We will raise up in
every people a witness against them from
among themselves, and bring you as a
witness against these-- and We have
revealed the Book to you explaining clearly
everything, and a guidance and mercy and
good news for those who submit
ُ ‫َو َي ْو َم َن ْب َع‬
‫ث فِي ُكل أ ُ َمة‬
ۖ ‫َش ِهي ًدا َعلَي ِْه ْم ِمنْ أَ ْنفُ ِس ِه ْم‬
‫ك َش ِهي ًدا َعلَ ٰى‬
َ ‫َو ِج ْئ َنا ِب‬
‫ك‬
َ ‫ٰ َهؤُ َال ِء ۚ َو َن َز ْل َنا َعلَ ْي‬
‫اب ِت ْب َيا ًنا لِ ُكل َشيْ ء‬
َ ‫ْال ِك َت‬
‫َو ُه ًدى َو َرحْ َم ًة َو ُب ْش َر ٰى‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫لِ ْلمُسْ لِ ِم‬
Surely Allah commands the doing of justice
‫َّللا َيأْ ُم ُر ِب ْال َع ْد ِل‬
َ َ َ‫إِن‬
and the doing of good to others, and the
‫ان َوإِي َتا ِء ِذي‬
ِ ‫َو ْاْلِحْ َس‬
giving to the kindred:-and He forbids
‫ْالقُرْ َب ٰى َو َي ْن َه ٰى َع ِن‬
indecency and vice and rebellion; He
ۚ ِ‫ َفحْ َشا ِء َو ْال ُم ْن َك ِر َو ْال َب ْغي‬32‫ْال‬
ُ ‫َي ِع‬
admonishes you that you may be mindful.
‫ُون‬
َ ‫ظ ُك ْم لَ َعلَ ُك ْم َت َذ َكر‬
127-128 ‫ آية‬- 16 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النحل‬
Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Your
endurance is only by Allah’s help. Grieve
not for them, and be not in distress
because of that which they devise.
For Allah is with those of piety, and those
who do good.
‫ك إِ َال‬
َ ‫ص ْب ُر‬
َ ‫َواصْ ِبرْ َو َما‬
‫الِل ۚ َو َال َتحْ َزنْ َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َو َال‬
ِ َ ‫ِب‬
‫ُون‬
ُ ‫َت‬
َ ‫ضيْق ِممَا َي ْم ُكر‬
َ ‫ك فِي‬
‫ين ا َت َق ْوا‬
َ ‫َّللا َم َع الَ ِذ‬
َ َ َ‫إِن‬
‫ون‬
َ ‫ين ُه ْم مُحْ ِس ُن‬
َ ‫َوالَ ِذ‬
33
37-38 ‫ آية‬- 22 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الحج‬
(About sacrificing animals during Haj):
There does not reach Allah their flesh nor their
blood, but to Him is acceptable your Piety;
thus has He made them subservient to you,
that you may magnify Allah for what He has
guided you aright; and give glad tidings (O
Muhammad) to those who do good.
Surely Allah will defend those who believe;
surely Allah does not love any one who is
unfaithful, ungrateful
‫َّللا لُ ُحو ُم َها‬
َ َ ‫لَنْ َي َنا َل‬
ْ‫َو َال ِد َماؤُ َها َو ٰلَ ِكن‬
ۚ ‫َي َنالُ ُه ال َت ْق َو ٰى ِم ْن ُك ْم‬
‫ك َس َخ َر َها لَ ُك ْم‬
َ ِ‫َك ٰ َذل‬
‫َّللا َعلَ ٰى َما‬
َ َ ‫لِ ُت َكبرُوا‬
‫َهدَا ُك ْم ۗ َو َبش ِر‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
‫َّللا ُيدَا ِف ُع َع ِن‬
َ َ َ‫إِن‬
‫َّللا‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
َ َ َ‫ين آ َم ُنوا ۗ إِن‬
‫َال ُيحِبُّ ُك َل َخ َوان‬
‫فُور‬34‫َك‬
70-71 ‫ آية‬- 25 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الفرقان‬
Except him who repents and believes and
‫اب َوآ َم َن َو َع ِم َل‬
َ ‫إِ َال َمنْ َت‬
does a good deed; so these are they of
‫ك ُي َبد ُل‬
َ ‫صالِحً ا َفأُو ٰلَ ِئ‬
َ ‫َع َم ًَل‬
َ
whom Allah changes their misdeeds to
ۗ ‫َّللا ُ َسي َئا ِت ِه ْم َح َس َنات‬
َ ‫ان‬
good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
‫َّللاُ َغفُورً ا َر ِحي ًما‬
َ ‫َو َك‬
And whoever repents and does good has
truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable)
conversion;-
‫صالِحً ا‬
َ ‫اب َو َع ِم َل‬
َ ‫َو َمنْ َت‬
‫َّللا َم َتابًا‬
ِ َ ‫َفإِ َن ُه َي ُتوبُ إِلَى‬
35
89-90 ‫ آية‬- 27 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النمل‬
Whoever brings forth good works, he
shall have better than it; and they shall
be secure from fear that Day.
And whoever brings evil, these shall be
thrown down on their faces into the fire;
shall you be rewarded (for) aught except
what you did?
‫َمنْ َجا َء ِب ْال َح َس َن ِة َفلَ ُه َخيْر‬
‫ِم ْن َها َو ُه ْم ِمنْ َف َزع َي ْو َم ِئذ‬
‫ون‬
َ ‫آ ِم ُن‬
ْ ‫َو َمنْ َجا َء ِبال َسي َئ ِة َف ُكب‬
‫َت‬
‫ار َه ْل‬
ِ ‫وُ جُو ُه ُه ْم فِي ال َن‬
‫ون‬
َ ُ ‫ُتجْ َز ْو َن إِ َال َما ُك ْن ُت ْم َتعْ َمل‬
36
8-9 ‫ آية‬- 29 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة العنكبوت‬
We have enjoined on man kindness to
parents: and if they contend with you that
you should associate others with Me, of
which you have no knowledge, do not
obey them, to Me is your return, and I will
inform you of what you did.
‫ان ِب َوالِ َد ْي ِه‬
َ ‫َو َو‬
َ ‫ص ْي َنا ْاْلِ ْن َس‬
‫ك‬
َ ‫حُسْ ًنا ۖ َوإِنْ َجا َهدَا‬
‫ك ِب ِه‬
َ َ‫ْس ل‬
َ ‫ك ِبي َما لَي‬
َ ‫لِ ُت ْش ِر‬
َ‫ِع ْلم َف ََل ُت ِطعْ ُه َما ۚ إِلَي‬
‫ج ُع ُك ْم َفأ ُ َنب ُئ ُك ْم ِب َما ُك ْن ُت ْم‬
ِ ْ‫َمر‬
‫ون‬
َ ُ ‫َتعْ َمل‬
And those who believe and work
righteous deeds,- them shall We admit to
the company of the Righteous
‫ين آ َم ُنوا َو َع ِملُوا‬
َ ‫َوالَ ِذ‬
‫خلَ َن ُه ْم ِفي‬
ِ ‫ت لَ ُن ْد‬
ِ ‫الصَالِ َحا‬
‫ين‬
ِ ِ‫الصَال‬
َ ‫ح‬
37
68-69 ‫ آية‬- 29 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة العنكبوت‬
Who does greater wrong than he who
invents a lie concerning Allah, or denies
the truth when it comes unto him? Is not
there a home in hell for disbelievers?
‫َو َمنْ أَ ْظلَ ُم ِم َم ِن ا ْف َت َر ٰى َعلَى‬
‫ب ِب ْال َحق لَمَا‬
َ ‫َّللا َك ِذبًا أَ ْو َك َذ‬
َِ
‫ْس فِي َج َه َن َم َم ْث ًوى‬
َ ‫َجا َءهُ ۚ أَلَي‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫لِ ْل َكافِ ِر‬
And those who strive in Our cause,- We
will guide them to our Paths:
For verily Allah is with the doers of good.
‫ين َجا َه ُدوا فِي َنا لَ َن ْه ِد َي َن ُه ْم‬
َ ‫َوالَ ِذ‬
ۚ ‫ُس ُبلَ َنا‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َّللا لَ َم َع ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
َ َ َ‫َوإِن‬
38
21-22 ‫ آية‬- 31 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة لقمان‬
And when it is said to them: Follow what
Allah has revealed, they say: Nay, we
follow that on which we found our fathers.
"What! even if it is Satan beckoning them
to the Penalty of the Blazing Fire?
‫َوإِ َذا قِي َل لَ ُه ُم ا َت ِبعُوا َما‬
َ ‫أَ ْن َز َل‬
‫َّللا ُ َقالُوا َب ْل َن َت ِب ُع َما‬
‫َو َج ْد َنا َعلَ ْي ِه آ َبا َء َنا ۚ أَ َولَ ْو‬
‫ان ال َش ْي َطانُ َي ْدعُو ُه ْم إِلَ ٰى‬
َ ‫َك‬
‫ير‬
ِ ‫َع َذا‬
ِ ‫ب ال َس ِع‬
Whoever submits his self to Allah, and is a
doer of good, he has grasped indeed the
trustworthy hand-hold: and with Allah
rests the End and Decision of all affairs.
‫َّللا‬
ِ َ ‫َو َمنْ يُسْ لِ ْم َوجْ َه ُه إِلَى‬
‫ك‬
َ ‫َوه َُو مُحْ ِسن َف َق ِد اسْ َت ْم َس‬
‫َّللا‬
ِ َ ‫ِب ْالعُرْ َو ِة ْالوُ ْث َق ٰى ۗ َوإِلَى‬
ُ
‫ُور‬
ِ ‫َعاقِ َب ُة ْاْلم‬
39
101-105 ‫ آية‬- 37 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الصافات‬
And when he attained to working with him,
he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a
dream that I should sacrifice you; consider
then what you see. He said: O my father!
do what you are commanded; if Allah
please, you will find me of the patient ones.
So when they both submitted and he threw
him down upon his forehead,
And We called out to him saying: O
Ibrahim!
Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo!
thus do We reward the goodly doers.
‫َفلَمَا َبلَ َغ َم َع ُه السَعْ َي َقا َل‬
‫َيا ُب َنيَ إِني أَ َر ٰى ِفي‬
ُ ‫ك َفا ْن‬
ْ‫ظر‬
َ ‫ْال َم َن ِام أَني أَ ْذ َب ُح‬
‫ت‬
ِ ‫َما َذا َت َر ٰى ۚ َقا َل َيا أَ َب‬
‫ج ُد ِني‬
ِ ‫ا ْف َع ْل َما ُت ْؤ َم ُر ۖ َس َت‬
َ ‫إِنْ َشا َء‬
‫َّللا ُ ِم َن‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َاب ِر‬
ِ ‫الص‬
‫ين‬
ِ ‫َفلَمَا أَسْ لَ َما َو َتلَ ُه لِ ْل َج ِب‬
‫َو َنا َد ْي َناهُ أَنْ َيا إِب َْرا ِهي ُم‬
َ ‫ص َد ْق‬
‫ت الرُّ ْؤ َيا ۚ إِ َنا‬
َ ‫َق ْد‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ك َنجْ ِزي ْالمُحْ ِس ِن‬
َ ِ‫َك ٰ َذل‬
40
10-12 ‫ آية‬- 39 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الزمر‬
Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe
‫ين آ َم ُنوا‬
َ ‫قُ ْل َيا ِع َبا ِد الَ ِذ‬
your duty to your Lord.
‫ين أَحْ َس ُنوا‬
َ ‫ا َتقُوا َر َب ُك ْم ۚ لِلَ ِذ‬
ۗ ‫فِي ٰ َه ِذ ِه ال ُّد ْن َيا َح َس َنة‬
For those who do good in this world there
‫اس َعة ۗ إِ َن َما‬
ِ ‫َّللا َو‬
ِ َ ُ‫َوأَرْ ض‬
is good, and Allah's earth is spacious.
َ ‫َابر‬
Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages ‫ُون أَجْ َر ُه ْم‬
ِ ‫ي َُو َفى الص‬
‫ِب َغي ِْر ِح َساب‬
without stint.
Say: (O Muhammad) I am commanded that I
should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in
obedience.
And I am commanded that I shall be the
first of those who submit.
ُ ْ‫قُ ْل إِني أ ُ ِمر‬
‫ت أَنْ أَعْ ُب َد‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َّللا م ُْخلِصًا لَ ُه الد‬
ََ
ُ ْ‫َوأ ُ ِمر‬
‫ون أَوَ َل‬
َ ‫ت ِْلَنْ أَ ُك‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ْالمُسْ لِ ِم‬
41
55-58 ‫ آية‬- 39 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الزمر‬
And follow the best that has been revealed
‫َوا َت ِبعُوا أَحْ َس َن َما أ ُ ْن ِز َل إِلَ ْي ُك ْم‬
to you from your Lord before there comes to
‫ِمنْ َرب ُك ْم ِمنْ َقب ِْل أَنْ َيأْ ِت َي ُك ُم‬
you the punishment all of a sudden while
‫ْال َع َذابُ َب ْغ َت ًة َوأَ ْن ُت ْم َال‬
you do not even perceive;
‫ُون‬
َ ‫َت ْش ُعر‬
Lest a soul should say: O woe to me! for
َ‫أَنْ َتقُو َل َن ْفس َيا َحسْ َر َتا َعل‬
ٰ
‫ى‬
what I fell short of my duty to Allah, and
ُ ‫َما َفرَ ْط‬
ْ‫َّللا َوإِن‬
ِ ‫ت فِي َج ْن‬
َِ ‫ب‬
most surely I was of those who laughed to
ُ ‫ُك ْن‬
‫ين‬
ِ ‫ت لَ ِم َن ال َسا‬
َ ‫خ ِر‬
scorn;
‫َّللا َهدَا ِني‬
Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I
َ َ َ‫أَ ْو َتقُو َل لَ ْو أَن‬
ُ ‫لَ ُك ْن‬
should have been among the dutiful!
‫ين‬
َ ِ‫ت ِم َن ْال ُم َتق‬
Or it should say when it sees the
‫اب لَ ْو‬
ِ ‫أَ ْو َتقُو َل‬
َ ‫ين َت َرى ْال َع َذ‬
َ ‫ح‬
punishment: Were there only a returning for
‫ون ِم َن‬
َ ‫أَنَ لِي َكرَ ًة َفأ َ ُك‬
me, I should be of the doers of good.

‫ين‬
َ ‫المُحْ ِس ِن‬
11-12 ‫ آية‬- 46 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة اْلحقاف‬
And those who disbelieve say concerning
those who believe: If it had been a good,
they would not have gone ahead of us
therein. And as they do not seek to be
rightly directed thereby, they say: It is an
old lie.
When before it there was the Scripture of
Moses, an example and a mercy; and this
Quran is a confirming Scripture in the
Arabic language, that it may warn those
who do wrong and bring good tidings for
the righteous.
‫ين‬
َ ‫ين َك َفرُوا لِلَ ِذ‬
َ ‫َو َقا َل الَ ِذ‬
‫ان َخيْرً ا َما‬
َ ‫آ َم ُنوا لَ ْو َك‬
‫َس َبقُو َنا إِلَ ْي ِه ۚ َوإِ ْذ لَ ْم‬
‫َي ْه َت ُدوا ِب ِه َف َس َيقُولُو َن ٰ َه َذا‬
‫إِ ْفك َق ِديم‬
‫َو ِمنْ َق ْبلِ ِه ِك َتابُ مُو َس ٰى‬
‫إِ َمامًا َو َرحْ َم ًة ۚ َو ٰ َه َذا‬
‫صدق لِ َسا ًنا‬
َ ‫ِك َتاب ُم‬
‫ين َظلَمُوا‬
َ ‫َع َر ِب ًيا لِ ُي ْن ِذ َر الَ ِذ‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫َو ُب ْش َر ٰى لِ ْل ُمحْ ِس ِن‬
43
31-32 ‫ آية‬- 53 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة النجم‬
Yea, to Allah belongs all that is in the
‫ت َو َما‬
ِ ‫لِل َما فِي ال َس َم َاوا‬
ِ َ ِ ‫َو‬
heavens and on earth: so that He rewards
‫ين‬
َ ‫ي الَ ِذ‬
َ ‫ض لِ َيجْ ِز‬
ِ ْ‫ِفي ْاْلَر‬
those who do evil according to their deeds,
‫ي‬
َ ‫أَ َساءُوا ِب َما َع ِمل ُوا َو َيجْ ِز‬
‫ين أَحْ َس ُنوا ِب ْالحُسْ َنى‬
and He rewards those who do good, with
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
what is best.
‫ُون َك َبا ِئ َر ْاْلِ ْث ِم‬
َ ‫ين َيجْ َت ِنب‬
َ ‫الَ ِذ‬
Those who avoid great sins and shameful
َ‫ش إِ َال اللَ َم َم ۚ إِن‬
َ ‫َو ْال َف َوا ِح‬
deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy
‫اس ُع ْال َم ْغفِ َر ِة ۚ ه َُو‬
ِ ‫ك َو‬
َ ‫َر َب‬
Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you
‫أَعْ لَ ُم ِب ُك ْم إِ ْذ أَ ْن َشأ َ ُك ْم ِم َن‬
well when He brings you out of the earth,
‫ج َنة فِي‬
ِ ْ‫ْاْلَر‬
ِ َ‫ض َوإِ ْذ أَ ْن ُت ْم أ‬
And when ye are hidden in your mothers'
ُ ‫ب‬
‫ون أ ُ َم َها ِت ُك ْم ۖ َف ََل ُت َز ُّكوا‬
‫ُط‬
ِ
wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He ٰ َ َ
‫أَ ْنفُ َس ُك ْم ۖ ه َُو أَعْ لَ ُم ِب َم ِن اتقى‬
knows best who it is that guards against evil.
44
58-61 ‫ آية‬- 55 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الرحمن‬
As though they were rubies and pearls.
Which then of the bounties of your Lord
will you deny?
Is there any Reward for Good - other
than Good?
Which then of the bounties of your Lord
will you deny?
ُ ُ‫َكأ َ َنهُنَ ْال َياق‬
ُ‫وت َو ْال َمرْ َجان‬
‫ان‬
ِ ‫َف ِبأَي َآال ِء َرب ُك َما ُت َكذ َب‬
‫ان إِ َال‬
ِ ‫َه ْل َج َزا ُء ْاْلِحْ َس‬
ُ‫ْاْلِحْ َسان‬
‫ان‬
ِ ‫َف ِبأَي َآال ِء َرب ُك َما ُت َكذ َب‬
45
12-11 ‫ آية‬- 57 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة الحديد‬
Who is he that will lend unto Allah a
goodly loan, that He may double it for him
and his may be a rich reward?
‫َّللا‬
َ َ ُ‫َمنْ َذا الَ ِذي ُي ْق ِرض‬
‫اع َف ُه لَ ُه‬
ِ ‫ض‬
َ ‫َقرْ ضًا َح َس ًنا َف ُي‬
‫َولَ ُه أَجْ ر َك ِريم‬
On that day you will see the faithful, men
and women-- their light precedes them
and on their right hand-- good news for
you today: Gardens beneath which rivers
flow, to abide therein, that is the
achievement most great.
‫ين‬
َ ‫َي ْو َم َت َرى ْالم ُْؤ ِم ِن‬
‫ت َيسْ َع ٰى ُنو ُر ُه ْم‬
ِ ‫َو ْالم ُْؤ ِم َنا‬
‫يه ْم َو ِبأ َ ْي َما ِن ِه ْم‬
ِ ‫َبي َْن أَ ْي ِد‬
‫ُب ْش َرا ُك ُم ْال َي ْو َم َج َنات َتجْ ِري‬
‫ين‬
َ ‫ِمنْ َتحْ ِت َها ْاْلَ ْن َها ُر َخالِ ِد‬
ٰ
‫ك ه َُو ْال َف ْو ُز ْال َع ِظي ُم‬
َ ِ‫فِي َها ۚ َذل‬
46
41-44 ‫ آية‬- 77 ‫ سورة‬- ‫سورة المرسَلت‬
As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst
shades and fountains.
And fruits such as they desire.
Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in
return for what ye did.
Thus do We reward the good.
‫ين فِي ِظ ََلل‬
َ ِ‫إِنَ ْال ُم َتق‬
‫َو ُعيُون‬
‫ُون‬
َ ‫َو َف َوا ِك َه ِممَا َي ْش َته‬
‫ُكلُوا َوا ْش َربُوا َه ِني ًئا ِب َما‬
‫ُك ْن ُت ْم َتعْ َملُو َن‬
‫ك َنجْ ِزي‬
َ ِ‫إِ َنا َك ٰ َذل‬
‫نين‬
َ ِِ ‫س‬
ِ ْ‫ْالمُح‬
47
In Conclusion, Read Surah of
Asr
‫َو ْال َعصْ ِر‬
By the declining day,
‫ان لَفِي ُخسْ ر‬
َ ‫إِنَ ْاْلِ ْن َس‬
Lo! man is a state of loss,
‫صب ِْر‬
َ ‫اص ْوا ِبال‬
ِ ‫ين آ َم ُنوا َو َع ِملُوا الصَالِ َحا‬
َ ‫اص ْوا ِب ْال َحق َو َت َو‬
َ ‫ت َو َت َو‬
َ ‫إِ َال الَ ِذ‬
Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one
another to truth and exhort one another to endurance
