We hope you enjoyed your half term break and
welcome you back to another exciting
half term at Addlestone Pre-School.
What will we be up to this term?
Morning Children:
This half term we will be busy preparing the
children for transition to their new school. We
will be having our leaving photo on Thursday
6th June 2013, this is for all Morning children, if
your child does not usually attend on the
Thursday please feel free to bring them in for
the photograph. The children are also looking
forward to their leavers trip on 5th July and
Zoolab will be visiting the Preschool to do a
Rain Forest Adventure Workshop on Tuesday
18th June 2013.
Afternoon Children:
We will be looking at the life cycle of a Butterfly
and will be feeding caterpillar’s and then
releasing them as fully grown butterflies at the
end of term.
Fundraising
As this will probably be our last newsletter for
2012/13, all of the Pre-School staff and
Committee would like to Thank Lilli for all of
her wonderful work on raising great funds for
us during this year. Thank you to everyone
who helped, donated or came along to the
events, they have been great fun and made a
big difference to the resources that we have
been able to get for the Preschool.
The next Fundraising event is planned for the
20th July 2013. This is a Fish n Chips Quiz
night and we would like to welcome everyone
to attend, new parents, current parents and the
parents of those children who will be leaving
for School. An invitation will be sent out within
the next few weeks.

Paying your fees by bank transfer
In an attempt to minimise bank charges and
simplify the payment process, we are
encouraging parents to try to pay fees via bank
transfer. Alternatively, Cheques can be written
to Addlestone Pre-school and handed into a
member of staff and we also accept Child care
vouchers.
Your invoices for this half term have been
issued and payment is due no later then 21st
June 2013. If you have any issues with
meeting payment or for another copy of your
invoice please feel free to speak with Dawn
about this.
Work force team
Over the Summer Holiday we will be decorating
the Preschool inside and out. We are also
planning on painting the outside classroom and
smartening up the bushes that run behind the
classroom.
We would really appreciate any volunteers to
help us with this. The more we can do
ourselves will mean the less money we need to
pay out and the more stuff we can buy for the
children to use during the session.
If you or anyone you know would be happy to
volunteer a few hours of time to get jobs done
please fill in the below information and leave
with the Pre-school staff.

Morning sessions: 9.00am to 12.15
Afternoon sessions: 12.30 to 3.00
Please remember:
• Uniform must be named.
• Please provide a set of spare clothes for
your child and a named water bottle.
• No parking in the school grounds.
• No smoking in the school grounds.
• If your child has had sickness or an upset
stomach they must be kept away from
school for 48 hours.
• If you are sending money, medication or
other important items into the preschool
with your child, please remember to hand
to a member of staff - do not leave in your
child’s bag.
• Please remember that if you have any
concerns we are always available at the
beginning or end of the session or we will
arrange a convenient time for you to
speak to us. However, we do ask that you
wait for all children to be safely collected
at the end of a session before
approaching a member of staff.
• Please do not pick the flowers on the
school grounds.
