Training on sampling and analysis of asbestos fiber and bulk samples was conducted in the National Center for Public Health (NCPH) from 07-09 Aug 2013

Dr Soe Nyunt-U highlighted the importance of capacity building for implementation of law and standards to reduce and mitigate asbestos exposure.

15 staff attended the hands-on training from central laboratories of custom, professional inspection agency, occupational health center, environmental monitoring center, railroad, academia and training institutions.
