Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time You should then be taken to a log in screen, where you will be able to log in as a guest without a password; simply enter your name. Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time You may have to wait for the tutor to grant you access into the meeting area. Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time After Adobe Connect loads, you will be in your meeting area. You are able to chat with your tutor at any time. If your tutor has granted you the necessary permissions, you will be able to enable your webcam and microphone. Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time If you have a webcam, you will be able to connect it to the computer and use it now. Be sure to click “Allow” if at any time this window appears. Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time You must click “Start Sharing” in order for the tutor to view the webcam. Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time If at any time you need to disable your webcam, click the webcam icon and select “Stop My Webcam” Participating in an Adobe Connect Meeting for the First Time To begin using a microphone to speak to the tutor, click the microphone icon at the top of the screen and select “Connect My Audio”. Click it again to mute your microphone, and it will change to a crossed-out icon. For example, if you, the student, are sharing a document, your tutor will not be able to share anything until you click “Stop Sharing”.
