You should then be taken to a log in screen, where you will be able
to log in as a guest without a password; simply enter your name.

You may have to wait for the tutor to grant you access into the meeting area.

After Adobe Connect loads, you will be in your
meeting area. You are able to chat with your tutor at
any time.
If your tutor has granted you the necessary
permissions, you will be able to enable your webcam
and microphone.

If you have a webcam, you will be able to
connect it to the computer and use it
now.
Be sure to click “Allow” if
at any time this window
appears.

You must click “Start Sharing” in order
for the tutor to view the webcam.

If at any time you need to disable
your webcam, click the webcam icon
and select “Stop My Webcam”

To begin using a microphone to
speak to the tutor, click the
microphone icon at the top of the
screen and select “Connect My
Audio”. Make sure that your mic is
not muted on your headset.

Your Microphone icon will turn
green. Click it again to mute your
microphone, and it will change to a
crossed-out icon.

You are able to share your screen,
which will reveal your desktop to
the tutor.
You are able to upload PDF
documents for review.
You can also share a whiteboard to
solve problems on.

Only one person may be sharing
something at a time. For example, if
you, the student, are sharing a
document, your tutor will not be
able to share anything until you click
“Stop Sharing”.

When your session is over, your tutor will end the
meeting and this message will display. You may now
close your browser.
