About the Social Work Library





History of the library coincides with the history of CUSSW, first
School of Social Work in the nation in 1898
75,000 volumes, 225 print journals, reference collection, film
collection, course reserves, social work dissertations, offsite
collections
Facilities: group study rooms, media viewing stations, library
research computers, photocopiers, networked printers, study
carrels, reading room, after-hours CUSSW-only study space,
wireless network
4 full-time staff, including 1 professional librarian, 1
circulation/reserves supervisor, and 2 library assistants;
occasional student workers
