Prof. G.S.N. Raju, Vice Chancellor – Andhra University
He formally inaugurated a workshop to train young
university faculty in information technology tools under
the aegis of software giant –Microsoft on Friday evening
at conference Hall AUCOE.
Vice Chancellor has
appreciated the efforts rendered by Microsoft in
upgradation & imparting technical knowledge under the
Programme “Saksham”. Trainers from Microsoft have
arrived in AU to offer first hand ICT training to faculties of
AU. Professor C.H.V. Ramchandra Murthy, Principal AU
College of Engineering, Professor V. Veeraiah, Prof. D.
Prabhakar,Prof. A. Radhakrishna & many senior faculty
members participated in the inaugural ceremony.

The growth of a Country depends on the adaptation and usage of current technologies by the
society. The outcome of a plant depends on the seed quality and its (living) environment. Similarly
the productive and intellectual capabilities of a student depend on the knowledge seed implanted
by the mentor and supportive environment provided to him/her, through ICT technologies that can
make him/her to stand at any corner of the world.
