     According to The Data Warehousing Institute, U.S. businesses suffer losses, problems or costs of more than $600 billion per year due to poor quality data, and typically between 10% to 25% of revenues. Data Hygiene - ERP Implementations

     ERP implementations are often measured by go-live date. Data Hygiene even though an important milestone in implementation is often ignored due to pressures of go-live date.

65% of CIO’s in APAC feel that prime reason for their dissatisfaction on their ERP implementations is that they have bad data. “Garbage in and garbage out” is commonly heard in meetings between IT and Business.      It is time to move forward from an ad-hoc approach and look at Data Integration as something that can contribute significantly to competitive advantage.

Data integration remains a major challenge for corporations according to a recent report by The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) that evaluates the progress of data integration strategies and the IT challenges associated with implementation.

The study - which surveyed 672 IT and business users across multiple industries - reports that nearly 70 percent of respondents identified data integration as a high inhibitor of new-application implementation.

A new study by Forrester Research Inc, on the financial impact of standardizing on a common data integration platform and leveraging an integration competency center (ICC).   MIDAS application and Data integration module integrates SAP with host of other systems These can be SaaS based CRM systems such as Oracle CRM / Salesforce or legacy applications such as Mainframes with open standard based connectors.

 MIDAS fills a broad range of integration needs without expensive IT development costs:       Reading data from SAP environment at any level, from Tables, RFCs or BAPIs.

 Forbes 200 Global Pharma Company has a pain point of integrating daily sales data flow from stockiest to its SAP (ERP) and SCM (Symphony) systems.

 This data is crucial for their supply chain planning and shop floor production.

 Data from across the world flows in every 5 seconds. The data flow needs to be integrated with SCM / SAP, based on the set of business rules and work flows.

 As more stockiest were added, custom programming based integration approach never scaled up. They needed more ABAP programmers and integration specialists to battle out this challenge.

 MIDAS solution was deployed to integrate the application in a seamless manner that dwindle the data loss and there by inconsistencies.

Case Study - LIMS and SAP Integration

 Global Bio Tech major needed seamless integration between its Laboratory Information System (LIMS) and its SAP ERP.

 LIMS are tools that enable labs to manage complex processes, ensure regulatory compliance and promote laboratory and enterprise collaboration. These are basically off-the-shelf systems designed for a wide variety of laboratory environments operating in many scientific and industrial disciplines.

 Challenge with these systems is - they do have proprietary APIs which makes them difficult for integrations.

 MIDAS has been deployed as an integration engine on premise of the customer.

 Bodhtree completed the integration with stipulated time of 7 working days, by building the connector to LIMS.

Case Study- SAP - Salesforce CRM Integration

 Global Contract Research Manufacturing major needed seamless integration between Salesforce (SaaS based CRM) and its SAP ERP.

 Salesforce approached Bodhtree to solve this integration challenge, which is critical for the customer to adopt Salesforce as CRM.

 MIDAS has been deployed as an integration engine on premise of the customer.

 Bodhtree completed the integration with stipulated time of 3 working days, with MIDAS out of box connector between Salesforce and SAP.
