Lesson 9: The Four Noble Truths: (IV) Path
Leading to the End of Suffering
- Chapter 12: The Four Noble Truths:
(IV) Path Leading to the End of Suffering
The Four Noble Truths:
(IV) Path Leading to the End of Suffering
- The Middle Path
• The Middle Path avoids the two extremes – live
in very comfortable life (Prince) and live as
asceticism (ascetic monk).
• Just like the 3 strings on the lute:
– Too loose: produce poor sound
– Too tight: produce poor sound and could break easily
– Neither loose or tight: produce a nice sound
• Middle Path is the Fourth Noble Truth of the path
leading to the end of suffering.
