Social Studies Curriculum:
Study 1
Culture and the development of civilizations- Ancient Egypt.
Study 2
The classical worlds of Greece and Rome- The theme of this
study is politics and government.
Study 3
Middle Ages- Feudal systems- The theme of this study is
economics and religion.
Study 4
The Renaissance, the Reformation, Exploration and the
Scientific Revolution- The theme of this study is
communication through words, sciences and the arts.

Should review SS notes daily.
ELA- READ!!!! Should be reading novel each night

Large assessments (tests) are weighted
55%.
Small assessments (quizzes) are weighted
35%.
Homework is weighted 10%.
Extra Help:
I don’t have a set schedule for extra help , its
held on as needed basis
Just ask anytime to set an appointment.



