provide tips for constructing complex searches.
• Browse
SAGE Journals Online offers various Browse features to assist with
your article searches or to locate a journal of interest. You may
browse all titles in the SAGE Journals Online with the Browse by
Journal Title feature. Browse by Topic allows you to view a list of all
articles assigned to a given subject category.
• Reference Linking
Reference linking features can be found in the Full Text and
References views of articles, when available. Inter-journal Links
When an article in SAGE Journals Online cites an article in another
participating HighWire-hosted journal, a link granting free access to
the cited reference will appear. You must follow the cited article's
[Abstract/Free Full Text] link in order to view the full-text article.
Links to Library Holdings
SAGE Journals Online – Major
Features
• Your library may use an OpenURL resolver to help readers locate
available copies of content in their holdings. If your institution utilizes
such a resolver, you may see a link in cited references directing you
to your institution's various holdings of that material. The OpenURL
standard is designed to support mediated linking from information
resources to library services. A link resolver interprets the elements
of an OpenURL and provides links to appropriate services as
identified by a library. My Tools
My Tools allow for customization of SAGE Journals Online. Access
to My Tools requires a SAGE Journals Online registration. Email
• Alerts
The email alerts feature allows you to create Content alerts, which
will send notification emails when a new issue of the journal is
posted online. SJO Search alerts allow you to receive notification
when new content is published matching your search criteria.
• My Favorite Journals
Designate journals of interest as My Favorite Journals to allow for
customized browsing and searching within SAGE Journals Online.
SAGE Journals Online – Major

email, print, add to your Saved Citations/Saved
