BRITISH TRADITIONAL FOOD

British food has traditionally been based on beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish generally served with potatoes and one other vegetable.

The most common and typical food in Britain include the sandwich, fish and chips.

Traditional Food

English breakfast is eggs, bacon, sausages, fired bread, mushrooms, baked beans.

Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. This is traditional Sunday lunch, which is a family affair.

Toad- in- the- Hole is similar to Yorkshire Pudding, but with sausages placed in the butter before cooking.

Fish and chips

is a British traditional food sometimes served with salad.

Cottage pie

made with minced beef and vegetables topped with mashed potato.

Lanc

ashire Hotpot is a casserole of meat and vegetables topped with sliced potatoes.
