• Scope: Drive the understanding and implementation of CIM-based
message exchange to support efficient and effective communication while
establishing a forum for the sharing of such information as well as best
practices for exchange of CIM-based information

The major objectives of this group are:
• To promote the understanding and implementation of CIM
UML modeling and CIM-Based message exchange
• To exchange best practices and information related to
challenges experienced when implementing CIM for EAI
• To support collaboration and awareness of methodologies
for the derivation of messages
• Support collaboration and awareness on various tools used to
work with CIM among the CIM users community
