•Fraud, coercion, and kidnapping
•Young children, teenagers, men and women
• All forms of forced labor, organ removal, and
marriage
•600,000-900,000 victims every year
Ukrainian Law on Human Trafficking:
Paragraph 1, Article 149 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code
Sale, other transfer for payment or any other illegal deals
with regard to a person, involving legal or illegal
movement of that person, with or without his/her consent,
across the border of Ukraine for further sale or other
transfer to any person (or persons) for the purpose of
sexual exploitation, use in pornography business,
engagement in criminal activities or financial debt,
adoption for commercial purposes, use in armed conflicts,
or labor exploitation, - shall be punishable by
imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years.
