Alpine skiing is the sport of sliding
down snow-covered hills on skis with
fixed-heel bindings. It is also commonly
known as downhill skiing.
Bindings : is an attachment that anchors
a ski boot to the ski.

the women's downhill.

racing discipline of alpine skiing. Along

a "speed" event, in contrast to the
technical events giant slalom and
