Dixie Olson had tests done
for some apparent heart
problems. This on top of
the fibroid tumors that will
require surgery and her
other health problems.
Baptized:
Leslie Valverde was baptized
Sunday morning.
Jessica McDorman was
baptized at the evening
service.
Deb Bruch has been admitted
into a care home - Amber
Lights, 6231 N. Monte Villa,
498-0668.
Marjorie Haines has again
gone home from the care
facility. It will not be easy
for her as she continues to
have trouble with doing the
basics things of living
alone. Any help would be
appreciated.
Frank Wright was hoping to make
it to services this week but is still
not well enough to be out. He
has been having a real difficult
time and hasn’t been able to be
out of the house for some time
now.
Jerry Meadows said that her
mother is back in her own
apartment and is doing very
well in her recovery from the
broken hip. She is able to
walk around the apartment
without the walker.
Ray Harden had some spinal
tests done this week. Saturday
at home he apparently blacked
out and fell – cutting up his face
and breaking his glasses. He is
now in the VA hospital doing
further tests.
Twanette Pullen is slowly
doing better with her colon
surgery – but is now having
problems with some teeth
and carpal tunnel
syndrome.
Lou Weber's eye surgery this
week went well. He is glad to be
rid of the eye patch and is
looking forward to being able to
see with two eyes. Thank you
for the prayers and concern.
Chris Olson had to have
arthroscopic surgery on his
knee.
The ladies Bible class will
meet Tuesday, January 25,
7:00 p.m. in the home of
Nancy Lindsay.
Sharon DeLong had another
chemo treatment last
week. She is doing better
this time than the last but
still has to deal with tiring
easily.
Anne Marie Wagner is still
being bothered with her
stomach lining that is
irritated and underwent
more tests this week. .
CW Pyeatt recovering well from
his back surgery.
Ethyl Samuel is was
admitted to St. Mary’s and
is having a difficult time.
No visits or phone calls are
to be made at this time.
Hugh & Sharon's brother-in-law
is still trying to schedule the
needed treatments for his
cancer.
Rosetta Branche had another
chemo treatment so this was
another bad week for her. Keep
her in your prayers – and cards /
calls are appreciated.
David Hopkins also is facing
the need of surgery for his
back. He did find a doctor
that MIGHT be willing to do
corrective surgery.

Marie Layne has chosen not to
continue further cancer
treatment. She is home
bound by this so visits and
calls would be appreciated.
Nora Wilson was able to be
at services and is doing
better.
