What is an adaptation?
An adaptation is a change in an organism’s
physical structure or behavior that helps it to
survive in its habitat.
Two types of adaptations
Physical
Body structure, color,
fangs, etc.
Behavioral
Changes to action
Migration, hibernation, etc.
Who experiences adaptations?
All species have experienced adaptation
Organisms slowly adapt and pass on
adaptation to the next generation
