Steven Robbins:

"Creating an Aligned Assessment System to Promote Work Training Readiness and Career Success" Steven Robbins is Vice President of Research at ACT Former professor and Chair of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University.

He has published more than 90 research studies, and was cited as 12th in contributions to counseling and career literature in the late 1990s.

"Supporting Immigrant Students: Community College Pathways to Career Success" Director of the Community College Consortium for Immigrant Education (CCCIE), a national organization based at Westchester Community College that increases awareness of the important role community colleges play in delivering educational opportunities for immigrant students.

Served as a research consultant for The Conference Board, a national, not-for-profit business research and membership organization. Was Senior Vice President for Policy Studies at Work in America Institute. • Authored or co-authored numerous policy studies on such topics as work-life effectiveness, job-linked literacy, training for new technology, flexible work schedules, high performance workplaces and labor-management relations.
