The vision for CEIM is to be the leading center in
maintenance management and engineering in the
region and a first class source of knowledge and
information in the area of maintenance globally.

It brings together the experience of local and
international organizations along with the
knowledge of the academics to form a global
center of excellence in maintenance management
and Engineering.
Mission
• To serve and support organizations to develop and
improve their maintenance systems to the best
quality standards
• To enhance the educational process for students
and faculty by providing opportunities for quality
research and projects.

Background
• The Center was established in KFUPM in the year 2005.
• The director and the board members from KFUPM was
officially appointed by HE the Rector in 2006.
• Two workshops were conducted since then.
