1. They are not an exercise in speed
reading
2. They are not just to be read
3. Reading it once is not enough
How to Read Encyclicals
1. Have a Bible and a dictionary on hand
2. They are to be studied
3. They have been written for the Universal
Church
4. For the first time reader:
a. use them for Spiritual reading
b. meditate on them
c. check out the Scriptural references
