Day Time Fire Drill 2010
OBJECTIVES:
 To test RCBC Plaza’s Emergency Procedures.
 To test operational capabilities of RCBC Plaza’s
emergency facilities, equipment, and devices.
 To familiarize Building Management staff and its
occupants on the existing Emergency Procedures and
emergency facilities, equipment, and devices.
To assess RCBC Plaza’s management team and tenants
safety awareness and preparedness in relation to the
existing emergency procedures and building emergency
facilities, equipment, and devices.
 To enable RCBC Plaza’s management team and tenants to
determine safety aspects which need improvement.

FIRST RESPONSE TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
Verifies and provides feedback of any reported fire
alarms.
Initiates any necessary action for every alarm being
responded to.
Members:
 Roving guard assigned at the affected area.
 Housekeeping Personnel assigned at the affected area.
FIRE FIGHTING TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Once fire is confirmed, proceeds to the fire scene
with fire fighting equipment.
 Extinguishes the fire using available fire fighting
equipment until the fire is contained or until the
arrival of the Fire Department personnel.
Members:
 Roving guard at Tower 1 – Team Leader
 Roving guard at Tower 2
 Roving guard at Podium Area
 Roving guard at Basement Area
RESCUE TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Provides rescue assistance to those who need to be rescued
in case of emergency situation using service elevators.
 Provides rescue assistance to those who need medical
assistance and brings the patient to nearest medical service
using emergency equipment, e.g. wheel chair, spineboard and
strecher.
Members:
 Motorized Patrol – Team Leader
 Service Elevator Operator Tower 1
 Service Elevator Operator Tower 2
 Service Elevator 3 Operator
 Cool Off Reliever
CROWD CONTROL TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Controls crowd and gives direction to those who are in need.
 Ensures clear pathways for the smooth flow of evacuation.
Members:
 Internal Security Officer - Team Leader
 Guard at Drop Off Lobby
 Guard at Tower 1 Lobby
 Guard at Tower 2 Lobby
 Guard at Courtyard
SECURITY TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Ensures that all exit points are free from obstruction for the
evacuees.
 Allows no one to enter the building during the evacuation.
 Protects the building from potential looters or intruders.
Members:

Guards Force Commander – Team Leader
 Ground Entrances guards
 Car Access guards
 Loading Dock Entrance guards
 Podium Checkpoints guards
 Basement Checkpoints guards
TRAFFIC TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Controls vehicular traffic.
 Assists evacuees in crossing to their designated
evacuation sites.
Members:
 Guard’s Supervisor – Team Leader
 Guard at Ayala Perimeter
 Guard at Buendia Perimeter
 Guard at Geronimo Perimeter
 Guard at Delacosta Perimeter
ENGINEERING TEAM
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Shuts off gas pipe and electrical lines of affected areas.
 Attends other technical matters necessary in neutralizing
the fire.
Members:

Engineering Supervisors – Team Leader
 Building technicians
If the emergency situation
culminates in a General Evacuation,
other teams of RCBC PLAZA PMO
FIRE BRIGADE will proceed to
establish the Evacuation Sites. Once
there, the decision makers will don
RED HELMETS ( Red Hats ) to stand
out.
