Effective instruction makes the most difference in student academic performance.

There is no excuse for poor quality instruction.

With our help, at risk students will achieve at the same rate as non-at risk students.

Parent Involvement Initiatives

     Encourage more parents to sign up for Parent Portal Send monthly Parent flyers home.

Send communications in both English and home language.

Open the parent center for computer services.

Availability of social services advisor to facilitate parent needs.

     Encourage more parents to attend parent /teacher conferences.

Invite parents to attend students’ extra-curricular activities.

Send notices home – attendance, grades, teacher syllabus Tutoring assistance after school – inform parents ahead of time if child is required to attend tutoring Parents have access to an administrator assigned per grade level.

Summary

 North Dallas High School will ensure students are benefiting from resources funded by Title 1.

 North Dallas High School will encourage more parents to get involve in campus activities to benefit student’s learning and interests.

 North Dallas High School will implement strategies in accordance to Title I provisions.
