animation; test impacts, 1200 interviews incl

June Transport and Environment Committee on
interim options.

Keep cycle facility in long run.

 Segregation from traffic welcomed, but
also improve pedestrian segregation.
 Needs to be integrated with the
network.

• 40,000 passengers on first weekend
• 500,000 after first month
• Now averaging in advance of 90,000
passengers a week
• 3 million using tram between June and
December (on way to exceeding forecast 4.5m in first year)
