Recycling




Use CLFs in task lighting
Use natural light when possible
Use energy saving power strips or plug
multiple peripherals into a regular power
strip and turn off at the end of the day.
Use shades to block summer sun
Do not use portable heaters
Report problems
Recycle everything you can – including toner
cartridges, electronics, batteries
Limit the use of disposables in break room
Recycling challenge!
Purchasing



Purchase at a minimum 30% post-consumer
recycled content paper
Purchase office supplies with green attributes
like made from recycled content, nontoxic,
reduced packaging, etc.
Reduce frequency of deliveries like Office
Depot

Set all copiers to default double-sided
Distribute meeting materials electronically
and don’t print agendas, slides, etc.
