What is EveryonePrint?
• It’s an advanced print server solution
– It publishes itself as a visible printer for mobile devices
• It connects to physical devices to route print jobs
– It supports printing from iOS (AirPrint and app), Android (app),
notebooks (universal print driver), web upload and email
– It’s very secure – only accepts prints from authorised users

or can be used in a ‘standalone’ mode
• In standalone mode it offers pull printing (‘find me’) functions

from any manufacturer

INTERNAL ONLY
What does it offer?
• Direct Print – Android and iOS devices can connect
to printers with the mobile app. iOS devices can
also print directly via AirPrint (which gives us true
AirPrint support across all models in our range)
– Great for internal corporate mobile users
• Email Print – enables printing from any device that
can send an email, including BlackBerry
smartphones, netbooks and laptops
– Useful for guest printing requirements as you do not
have to be connected to the network to print
INTERNAL ONLY
What does it offer?
• Web Upload Print – Any device able to browse a
web page may connect and upload a file to be
printed. Supports many file formats natively which
are converted at the server, to support all printers.
– Great for public areas such as hospitality, libraries etc.
• Driver Print – a Universal Print Driver enables any
device (Mac/PC/Linux) to connect to any printer
without having to install the specialised driver
– Useful for students/guests who bring their own laptops
(Bring Your Own Device) and need to print to
different printer models

Scenario Example 1
• Enable printing from BYOD devices
– Requirement
• A school has a Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD)
scheme and wouldlike to allow students to print
from their mobile devices as well as personal notebooks
• However they do not wish to increase print costs and
want to charge the students, as they do for desktop printing
– Solution
• Install EveryonePrint Connect and link it to PaperCut MF
• Students can print from their mobile devices using the credit
stored in their PaperCut accounts
• All reports, quotas, transactions and reports in PaperCut
will list activity from mobile devices
INTERNAL ONLY
Scenario Example 2
• Mobile printing for guests
– Requirement
• An hotel would like to offer mobile
print facility to guests
• However they do not want to give guests
access to the internal hotel network
– Solution
• Nominate a device for mobile printing for guests
• Link the device to EveryonePrint’s email printing function
• Guests can email documents to the device to be printed
(including PDF and Microsoft® Office files)
• A release code is sent via email which is entered at
the MFD panel to release the print job
INTERNAL ONLY
Scenario Example 3
• Affordable, secure Pull-Printing
– Requirement
• The organisation would like to implement a
secure print solution without having to lock
down the devices for other functionality
• Users can print to any device but will require a
PIN to release the job, at the MFD panel
– Solution
• Install EveryonePrint with an affordable device license for
each Toshiba MFD
• Users print to the secure print queue from any network
connected device and release with a PIN number
at the Toshiba MFD
INTERNAL ONLY
Scenario Example 4
• Printing from mobile devices through the firewall
– Requirement
• An organisation would like users to be
able to print directly from their iPads
• But they are concerned about security and
will only give their users limited services on the wireless network,
which is firewalled from their main network (and therefore can’t
see the printers)
– Solution
• Install EveryonePrint’s Mobile Gateway service on each wireless
network in the organisation
• This allows users to print directly from mobile devices whilst
keeping their corporate network secure
