$102 new funding for MN State Colleges and Universities
• $78 million to offset 3% tuition increase; tuition freeze for 2 yrs
• $7.3 million for leveraged equipment
• $17 million to retain quality faculty and staff—one-time funds
• $0for internships/apprenticeships ($12 million requested

What can Consortia do?
Develop Rigorous Programs of Study
• Evaluate state approved programs of study
• Improve rigor in 10 components
• Select one Rigorous Program of Study to implement in FY14 by
May 2013, submit it with your local consortium plan
• Develop all 10 components of one Rigorous Program of Study
with at least level one subcomponents by March 15, 2014.
