EIG search techniques
 Standard search: Truncate words. An asterisk
at the end of the word will search for zero or
more letters at the end of the word eg. Scot*
will find: scots, Scotland, Scottish etc
 Advanced search: Combine search items
from a choice of indexes.
Best practice
 Images difficult to copy without infringing

 If you don’t own the image check for terms of use
 Displaying images in class for criticism & review
 Duplicates of images on handouts, PPTs and
networks

terms and conditions – check this before using it
