QUESTION MARKS
1. Use a question mark at the end of an interrogative
sentence. An interrogative sentence asks a question.
Ex) Did Madison find her hockey stick?
EXCLAMATION POINTS
1. Use an exclamation point after an exclamatory sentence.
An exclamatory sentence shows strong feeling.
Ex) Mom, I just saw a rattle snake!
2. Use an exclamation point after an interjection. An
interjection is a word or phrase that shows strong feeling.
Ex) Cool! Let’s do it!
