Matthew 26:26-28 (NKJV)
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread,
blessed and broke it, and gave it to the
disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and
gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
28 For this is My blood of the new covenant,
which is shed for many for the remission of
sins.

1 Corinthians 10:16-17 (NKJV)
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not
the communion of the blood of Christ? The
bread which we break, is it not the communion
of the body of Christ?
17 For we, though many, are one bread and one
body; for we all partake of that one bread.

Ephesians 4:4-6 (NKJV)
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you
were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all,
and through all, and in you all.

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the
members of that one body, being many, are one body, so
also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into
one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.
15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not
of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am
not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the
hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the
smelling?

But now God has set the members, each
one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
19 And if they were all one member, where
would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members,
yet one body.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have
no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet,
"I have no need of you."

No, much rather, those members of the body
which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23 And those members of the body which we
think to be less honorable, on these we bestow
greater honor; and our unpresentable parts
have greater modesty,
24 but our presentable parts have no need. But
God composed the body, having given greater
honor to that part which lacks it,

that there should be no schism in the body,
but that the members should have the same
care for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the members
suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all
the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and
members individually.

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some
evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the
saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son
of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness
of deceitful plotting,
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is
the head--Christ-16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint
supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its
share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

The 5 functions of the brain are:
1. Receiving- Taking information by the senses
2. Holding- Storing information and recall
3. Analyzing- Communication or creative act
4. Outputting- Referring to all mental and physical functions
5. Controlling- Pattern recognition and information
processing
The brain is the control center for the movement, sleep,
hunger, thirst and virtually every other vital activity necessary
to survive.

Functions of the skeleton
Support - it provides the framework of the body and supports the softer tissues, and
provides points of attachment for most muscles.
2. Protection - provides physical protection for many of the organs, e.g. ribcage-lungs,
skull-brain.
3. Movement - bones are attached to muscles, so when the muscles contract/relax this
causes the bones to move. The bones are also anchors for joints, e.g. elbow.
4. Mineral Storage - bones store many minerals including Calcium and Phosphorus. These
minerals are released from the bones when required, helping to maintain the balance of
minerals in the body.
5. Blood Cell Production - some larger bones contain red bone marrow, where red blood
cells, white blood cells, and platelets are produced.
6. Chemical Energy Storage - some red bone marrow changes to yellow bone marrow,
which is mainly made up of adipose cells and a few blood cells. It is an important
chemical energy reserve.

1 Corinthians 11:23-25 (NKJV)
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also
delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same
night in which He was betrayed took bread;
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and
said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for
you; do this in remembrance of Me."
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after
supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in
My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in
remembrance of Me."

11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete.
Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in
peace; and the God of love and peace will be
with you.
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13 All the saints greet you.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the
love of God, and the communion of the Holy
Spirit be with you all. Amen.
