Introducing
Our company has been
established in 1985 to fulfil
the nowadays expanding
requirements of production
technology and quality
assurance.
In order to fulfil the highest
requirements we have developed
the newest generation of our
precocious cap torque testers,
the ST-120 Lab.
The machine is capable for both industrial and
laboratory use and is able to test every kind of twist
caps so even the caps with child resistant closure or the
metallic pilver caps.
Thanks the fexibly
programm-able PLC
control, the instument can
be easily optimised on the
variest conditions and
measurment types from
the precocious closing
through the undistructive
release to the special
temper evident band tests.
The PLC can store up to 4000 datas (date,
measure type, measured data) in its memory.
The stored datas can be exported into excel
sheets onto the pc for further analysation.
There is the possibility to send the measurement
procedures real time datas on PC. The data
aqusition PC software displaies the measurement
procedure on XY graph. The graphs can be saved
in folders.
The most important measuring methodes
• Application – Precisious cap application with a preset
torque.
• Release test – Initial release torque measurement with
adjustable characteristics
• Apply-release test – Measuring
of the initial release torque
belonging to a certain application
torque. Ideal to define the closing
torque settings for different
container-cap combinations.
• Release-apply test – Having reached the preset release
fallback, the machine interrupts the release process and
recloses the cap with a preset amount of torque. With
correct settings the tamper evident band and the sealing will
not demage, so the tested item can be sent back to the
production line (method can be used both for carbonated
and aseptic products). With this kind of testing it is possible
to awoy the waste
production in torque
controlling, that may
result significant
savings at valuable
products.
• Undestructive release test – The machine tests weather
the cap is releaseable with a certain amount of torque. Only
on the failed items (release torque under limit) will the cap
be released.
On the output side this is a passed/failed type of test. The
items passing the test can be sent back to the production
line. This test mode opens up a new way to awoy waste
production in
torque controlling,
that may result
significant savings,
just like by the
release-apply test
mode.
• TEB Application Test – Measures and records the tamper
evident bands maximum
application torque together
with its position angle.
TEB Release Test – Measures and records both the initial
release torque and the the
tamper evident bands
maximum bridge breaking
torque and the position
angles.
• Theese both test methods are the most required ones in the
twist cap production industry.
• Strip test – Measures the peak torque value, where
threads break/deform in an on-torque/applicationcycle.
This way it is possible to measure the maximal amount
of torque that can be applied on a closure/container,
without the permanent damage of the closure/container
threads.
