What do you need?
-What information do the repair firms need prior
to going out to the customers residence?
Repairable Items
-Detailed description of the damage inspected
-Provide the repair cost for an item even if it can
potentially be denied

Digital Photos
-What is a reasonable cost for digital photos?
-Provide a picture of the entire piece and the
specific area damaged

3rd Party Estimate
-Obtain estimate if needed to support the claim
-Advise the adjuster if there is going to be an
additional fee
Non Repairable Items
-Provide the carrier with a detailed description of
the damage
-If the damage is deniable please describe why
Electronics
-Make, model, size, serial # and a description of the
damage
-What is a replacement of like, kind and quality

-“Fresh Damage” not “Transit Related Damage”
-Provide personal information observed as a side
note and not on the inspection report.
