Christ’s victory over Satan St. Peter Worship at Key to Life Saturday, March 8th Welcome to St. Peter! As we gather to worship this First Sunday in Lent our gospel lesson proclaims the Son of God going forth and defeating the devil for us. May this encourage us on your Lenten journeys as we learn from Jesus and wield the Spirit’s sword (the Word) to overcome temptation. Welcome to St. Peter! My comfort is found in you and your victorious war over all my spiritual enemies. Bless my worship and accept my prayers and songs of praise.
