Has Come
Joshua 5:13-15 13 And it came to pass, when
Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes
and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over
against him with his SWORD drawn in his
hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto
him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And
he said, Nay; but as CAPTAIN of the host of the
LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his
face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto
him, What saith my lord unto his servant? 15 And
the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua,
Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place
whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did
so.
Matt 11:7-11 7 And as they departed, Jesus began to
say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye
out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the
wind? 8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed
in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are

10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy

the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Isaiah 40:3-5
3 The voice of him that crieth in the
wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the
LORD, make straight in the desert a

be made low: and the crooked shall be

For the word of God is quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any
twoedged sword, piercing even to
the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.

Peter had a sword. He pulled that sword was going to cut the
high priest's ears off, and things like that; he did it. But when it
come to real Christian courage, he didn't have it. He backed
up and denied Him. Is that right? He could cut the high priest's ear
off with his sword, sure, he knowed how to handle it. But when it
come to the squeeze and time to stand on the Word of God,
he didn't have the courage, and even denied he knowed
Jesus. That's where it is today. We got courage to build buildings
and put millions of dollars in them. We got courage to put pipe
organs, and plush seats, and everything, and go out and proselyte
from place to place, and make the Methodists come Baptists, and
so forth, back and forth like that. But when it comes to Christian
courage to accept the Word and the message of God, and
stand there on it,

His Word is a Sword. Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of God is
sharper than a two-edged sword. Now, the sword of faith must...
The sword of the Word must be handled by the hand of faith.
Nothing else can yield that sword but faith in the Word.
Now, some people can take the Word and cut away ENOUGH to
join the church. That's about far as they get. Others can cut
in…cut down the promise of the Holy Ghost, cut out in Divine
healing. It depends on how strong that hand of faith is holding
that sword.
Every promise is yours. It's sharp enough to cut EVERYTHING
that there is around you away, and make you a son and daughter
of God, free from all. But depends on what kind of a hand
that's holding that sword. It must be a hand of faith.

“…You can cut into anything that
God promises. It's all out there. As He
told Joshua, "Everywhere the soles of
your foot sets, that's possession."
Depends on how strong that hand of
faith is that yields that Sword of God's
Word.

Well, I wondered what it meant, "That is the
King's sword." And I thought, "If it would've
said, 'A king's sword,' it might've been that I
would've understood it, but it said, 'The
King's sword.'" So I may not have this
right, but I thought, "There's only one The
King; that's God. And His Sword is this,
sharper than a two-edged sword. See?

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify
yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, There is an
accursed thing in the midst of thee, O
Israel: thou canst not stand before thine
enemies, until ye take away the accursed
thing from among you.
Joshua 7:6-9 And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to
the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until
the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust
upon their heads. 7 And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord
GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over
Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to
destroy us? would to God we had been content, and
dwelt on the other side Jordan! 8 O Lord, what shall I
say, when Israel turneth their backs before their
enemies! 9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of
the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and
cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do
unto thy great name?
And God said; Get UP Joshua!!
Joshua 7:10
And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee
up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?

brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the
tribe which the LORD taketh shall come according to the
families thereof; and the family which the LORD shall
take shall come by households; and the household
which the LORD shall take shall come man by man. 15
And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed
thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath:
because he hath transgressed the covenant of the
LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
Joshua 7:19-21
19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray
thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make
confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast
done; hide it not from me. 20 And Achan answered
Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the
LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: 21
When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish
garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a
wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted
them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the
earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
So what is Achan’s wedge today?
What had he done?
He had taken something from a City
that was CURSED!

"Pull the sword now; let's go forth and slay these Goliaths out of

over the hillsides, to the gates. Sure. You can do it too. It's
yours. It's for you. It's all; it's for every believer.
