THE WAY OF GOD
—in the Sanctuary
• Psalms 77:13 Thy way, O
God, is in the sanctuary: who
is so great a God as our God?
WHICH WAY IS GOD’S WAY?
• 1. THE BROAD WAY? or

• WHAT ARE THESE WAYS?
1. THE BROADWAY

THE WAY APART FROM GOD’S
CHOSEN WAY
The way which seems right
• Pro 21:2 Every way of a man is
right in his own eyes: but the LORD
pondereth the hearts.
But leads to death
• Pro 16:25 There is a way that
seemeth right unto a man, but the
end thereof are the ways of death.
And destruction, and many
chooses to go through it
• Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait
gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way, that leadeth to
destruction, and many there be
which go in thereat:
It is the way of unrighteousness
• 2Pe 2:15 Which have forsaken the
right way, and are gone astray,
following the way of Balaam the
son of Bosor, who loved the wages
of unrighteousness;
Which caused Jesus Death
• Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own
way; and the LORD hath laid
on him the iniquity of us all.
2. THE NARROW WAY
CHRIST’S SPIRIT LED-WAY
THE WAY OF GOD FOR
HEALING AND SALVATION
The Way to Life
• Mat 7:14 Because strait is the
gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few
there be that find it.
CHRIST—IS THE WAY
• John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the
Father, but by me.
The only way to heaven
• There will always be obstacles before us,
but we are to follow our Leader, and meet
our difficulties unitedly, hand in hand.
There is only one way to heaven. We must
walk in the footsteps of Jesus, doing His
works, even as He did the works of His
Father…
• …We must study His ways, not man’s
ways; we must obey His will, not our own.
Walk carefully. Do not go ahead of Christ.
Make no move without consulting your
Leader. Ask in humble prayer, and “ye shall
receive.” He is the Way, the Truth, the Life.

The way of humility and self
sacrifice
• (Php 2:5-9) Let this mind be in you,
which was also in Christ Jesus: Who,
being in the form of God, thought it
not robbery to be equal with God: But
made himself of no reputation, and
took upon him the form of a servant,…
• …and was made in the likeness of
men: And being found in fashion as a
man, he humbled himself, and became
obedient unto death, even the death of
the cross. Wherefore God also hath
highly exalted him, and given him a
name which is above every name:
The way to salvation
• (Mat
20:28) Even as the Son of
man came not to be ministered
unto, but to minister, and to give
his life a ransom for many.
3. THE WAY IN THE
SANCTUARY
Psalms 77:13 Thy way, O
God, is in the sanctuary
Ways—goings
• Psalm 68:24
They have seen
thy goings, O God; [even] the
goings of my God, my King, in the
sanctuary.
Example: The sanctuary shows
how God deals with the ungodly
• Psalm 73:12, 17 Behold, these [are]
the ungodly, who prosper in the world;
they increase [in] riches…Until I went
into the sanctuary of God; [then]
understood I their end.
The way of mercy
• Psalms 67:1 God be merciful
unto us, and bless us; [and]
cause his face to shine upon us;
Selah.
--the saving health
• Psalms 67:2 That thy way may
be known upon earth, thy
saving health among all nations.
The only way to true healing art
• 451. There are many ways of practicing the
healing art; but there is only one way that
Heaven approves. God's remedies are the
simple agencies of nature, that will not tax
or debilitate the system through their
powerful properties…
• ….Pure air and water, cleanliness, a proper
diet, purity of life, and a firm trust in God,
are remedies for the want of which
thousands are dying; yet these remedies are
going out of date because their skillful use
requires work that the people do not
appreciate.
• …Fresh air, exercise, pure water, and clean,
sweet premises, are within the reach of all,
with but little expense; but drugs are
expensive, both in the outlay of means, and
the effect produced upon the system. {CD

4. THE WAY TO THE
PRESENCE OF GOD
Isaiah 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God
of Israel, that dwellest [between] the
cherubims, thou [art] the God…
The place of communion with
God
• Exodus 25:22 And there I will meet with
thee, and I will commune with thee from
above the mercy seat, from between the two
cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the
testimony, of all [things] which I will give
thee in commandment unto the children of
Israel.
The only way that leads to God’s
presence
• John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him,

5. GOD’S WAY TOWARD US
Exodus 25:8 And let them make me
a sanctuary; that I may dwell among
them.
CHRIST—TABERNACLED WITH
MAN
• John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh,
and dwelt (eskeenoosen--tabernacled)
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
The only way or method to true
success in outreach
• Christ's method alone will give true success
in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled
with men as one who desired their good. He
showed His sympathy for them, ministered
to their needs, and won their confidence.
