• In the last 3 years the number of teleworkers in Western Europe has grown more then 30% yearly • SIBIS survey 2002 (EU): - home-based teleworkers – 7% - mobile workers – 4% - telecooperation- 38% • There are ca. 21 million teleworkers in the EU (13% of the total workforce) • Full-time home-based teleworking (5 days a week) is an exception rather than a rule
