PR as an opportunity: Specific recommandations
• Disseminate best practice models adapted to sites in
the region;
• Establish Programme to strengthen national
legislations for the protection of World Heritage (cooperation between the different levels of responsible
authorities);
• Integrate the World Heritage Strategic Objectives in
overall planning processes at the national level;
• Organise sub-regional seminars and workshops with
specific themes

• How to best ensure involvement of States Parties in
the analysis?
• How to effectively use this exercise by the States
Parties in view of undertaking a national analysis or
elaborating a World Heritage programme?

Plan?
• Will your country undertake a national analysis of the
data and/or elaborate a national strategy/programme? If
yes, how would you like ideas from your National
programme to be fed into the Regional programme?
• How to best ensure cross-cutting transnational, regional
and sub-regional cooperation and networks?
• Please provide your ideas/proposals as to how you
would like the raw data provided by the questionnaire, to
be analysed and presented in the Regional report.
