FACTORS INFLUENCING THE
ORIGIN OF THE CANDIDATES
• City/ Country where the exam is taking
place
• Financial level of the country where the
candidate comes from
• Usefulness of the diploma for the future of
the candidate
• How fair, easy and esteemed the diploma
is, compared to similar others
HOW TO INCREASE THE MOTIVATION FOR
PARTICIPATION OF MORE EUROPEAN
CANDIDATES
• Asking the national societies to persuade the
committees responsible for doctors’ employment
that EBE diploma is an important qualification
• As a first step to achieve this goal is to officially
accept the EBE diploma as equal to the national
one
• To standardize the level of the exam and to
increase its reputation in order to become a well
esteemed worldwide qualification (this needs
time, continuous evaluation, effort and
dedication)
