Assignment 2 (20%) (ORAL PRESENTATION)
Task Description
1. This is a group activity and work in group of four/five. 2. Invent a new product which is not in the market yet, and it must be a genuine idea from your group. (Any direct selling materials are not acceptable.) 4
3. Draw the product on a ‘mahjong’ paper or on the slide to be shown during your slide show.
4. Prepare a presentation and make it as interesting as possible to attract audience to buy your product.

5. Use audio visual aids (AVA) such as PowerPoint in your presentation.
6. During the presentation, convince the audience to buy your product by describing its features and advantages.

7. Each group member must deliver an equal portion of the oral presentation.
8. Each group member will be given a 5-minute timeslot in which to do an oral presentation of your group's work. 7
9. Videotape your group’s presentation and save it in AVI or WMV format.
10.The presentation must be sent to PPL in CD form with the hard copy of your power-point slides by

Your presentation should include:
The introduction – greeting, introduction of product.
How the product works The materials used Who the target consumers are The features and advantages of the product The company’s marketing plan for the product Conclusion 9
FORMAT OF PRESENTATION
Introduction-greetings and introduction of topic Body – descriptions and elaborations of the topic Conclusion
Each group presentation should not exceed 15 minutes.

EVALUATION
Marks will be awarded for: Content Delivery Pronunciation Intonation Language Non-verbal strategies AVA 11
MARKS
All group members will be awarded the same marks for the AVA and content of the presentation.
Each group member will be evaluated individually for delivery and language.

EXAM FORMAT
FINAL EXAM (30%) – 40 Multiple choice questions
The final exam is divided into 4 sections.
