Classroom Procedures

Tardies
• You are late when the bell rings and you are
not in my room
• You will receive a tardy if you don’t have
required materials
• Do Not ask to go to your locker to get any of
these materials (Be Responsible)
• 3 tardies = administrative after school
detention
• If late, have a pass (ask your teacher) Do
not go to guidance or Ms. Ulmer
Restroom Policy
• No restroom passes
• Go before school & Academy, before
1st Core, during lunch, & between Core
classes
• You are an 8th grader, be responsible
and go to the RR on your own time!!!
• If you have a medical need see the
counselor or homebase teacher
Exiting the Classroom
• The bell does not dismiss you
• Mr. Mew dismisses you
• Exit quietly
Locker Times
*You may only go to your lockers at the
appropriate time
• Before Academy (get Academy, 1st , & 2nd
RATS)
• After RATS and after Core 1
• After lunch (get 2nd , 3rd , & 4th Core materials)
• After school
***Consequence is Administrative After School

What if I Am Absent?
• You are responsible for making up
the work
• First, call, text, Facetime or message
your Study Buddy

***Sub Behavior***
• Follow the substitute’s directions
• DO NOT cause problems for Subs
• Your behavior should exceed what is
required when I am here
• Complete all assignments as instructed;
if finished early read
• I reward good notes; if your name is left
as a problem you typically will receive a
referral
3 Strikes and You’re Out
• Folder System (upon receiving 3rd folder
you will receive a referral)
– 1st folder – sent out of class, parent called
– 2nd folder – sent out of class, parent called/meeting
– 3rd and any future folders – office referral and other
consequences issued by administrator

• Tardies (including not having materials)

School Rules
1. Read and follow all student handbook
regulations.
2. Follow instructions of any teacher or staff
member.
3. Be on time and in assigned area at all times.
4. No disorderly conduct (any action or intent
that could cause bodily harm or property
damage)
5. No gum, food, or drink in classrooms or halls
without special permission.
Dress Code
- Belts
– No logos on shirts or buy a sticker
– No sagging pants
– Shirts tucked
Do you need extra help???
• 7:50 A.M. until 8:25 A.M. most mornings-see
me for a pass
• Lunch Study Hall is available Mon-Thurs.
• After school by appointment only
