0.9 Power Factor
High 0.9 output power factor enables this UPS
to provide its full power capability to modern IT
equipment that may have a wide range of
leading and lagging power factors.
Extended runtimes for all models
You can buy a standard unit and if you need
more backup time due to more load attached
you can add battery capacity later on.
Optimized product density
Save space in rack to increase power density
or improve heat dissipation.
Compatibility with 600mm racks
Fits in every environment even with telecom
racks
Load Segments
Divides UPS into virtual UPSs with separate
receptacle groups; each can be programmed
with individual shutdown and start-up
schedules, thus preserving battery power for
the most critical equipment.

5130: Accessories & Options
Racks and Enclosures: Internal, welded frame with repetitive hold
pattern delivers high load bearing capacity and additional mounting
locations
FlexPDU/HotSwapMBP: Integration on all Rack/Tower UPSs for the
convenient addition of receptacles or hot-swappable UPS
functionality.
Rack Mount PDUs: Effectively distribute UPS power throughout a rack
environment while organizing power cords. These units (rack-, wall- or
floor-mounted) support a selection of NEMA, IEC and hardwired inputs and
up to 12 NEMA/IEC output receptacles.
Maintenance Bypass: Add a hot-swappability function to your UPS by
adding a HotSwapMBP maintenance bypass switch. Perform any
maintenance or UPS upgrade without ever losing power to the connected
equipment.
Optional Connectivity Cards: Web/SNMP devices allow you to
connect your Powerware UPS directly to the Ethernet network and
the Internet, to conveniently monitor and manage your UPS with a
standard Web browser, while simultaneously providing graceful
shutdown for multiple computer systems over the network.
Extended Battery Modules (EBM): Add up to 4 EBMs to provide
extended runtimes of up to 4 hours for critical equipment.

5130 Summary
Unmatched flexibility in a power-dense, configurable, UPS designed for critical systems.
Maximizes availability and uptime
Flexibility—FlexPDU and hot-swap MBP options extend UPS connectability by sockets or terminal blocks and can be
installed as required behind, on the side or on top of the UPS
Extended run capability—Extends application uptime with up to four additional battery modules
Hot-swap battery—Ensures increased up time and reduced service utilization through battery module replacement
without load interruption
Minimizes total cost of ownership (TCO)
Power density—Power factor load compatible with 0.9 or greater provides more power
per U of rack space
Line-interactive HF technology — Allowing high product density
& providing the best price/performance ratio.
Included mounting hardware—Rail kits and hardware provided at no additional cost
Maximizes manageability and utilization
• Rack/tower configurations—Available in tower and R/T 2U (standard racks) or 3U (short-depth racks)
• Flexible communications interface—Rear deck resident USB and serial ports (R/T models); remote start/stop
connection capability
Optional communications slot—Allows customizable communications with free state of the art LanSafe monitoring &
shut down software
