Residential real estate
Major physical categories include: Attached / multi-unit dwellings
Apartment - An individual unit in a multi-unit building. The boundaries of the apartment are
generally defined by a perimeter of locked or lockable doors. Often seen in multi-story
apartment buildings.
Multi-family house - Often seen in multi-story detached buildings, where each floor is a
separate apartment or unit.
Terraced house (a.k.a. townhouse or rowhouse) - A number of single or multi-unit buildings
in a continuous row with shared walls and no intervening space.
Condominium - Building or complex, similar to apartments, owned by individuals. Common
grounds are owned and shared jointly. There are townhouse or rowhouse style
condominiums as well.
Cooperative (a.k.a. "co-op) - A type of multiple ownership in which the residents of a
multiunit housing complex own shares in the cooperative corporation that owns the
property, giving each resident the right to occupy a specific apartment or unit.
Residential real estate
Major physical categories include:
Semi-detached dwellings : Duplex - Two units with one shared wall.
Single-family detached home
Portable dwellings :
Mobile homes - Potentially a full-time residence which can be (might
not in practice be) movable on wheels.
Houseboats - A floating home
Tents - Usually very temporary, with roof and walls consisting only of
fabric-like material.
CONDOMINIUM
A condominium, or condo, is the form of housing tenure and other
real property where a specified part of a piece of real estate (usually
of an apartment house) is individually owned while use of and
access to common facilities in the piece such as hallways, heating
system, elevators, exterior areas is executed under legal rights
associated with the individual ownership and controlled by the
association of owners that jointly represent ownership of the whole
piece.
Colloquially, the term is often used to refer to the unit itself in place
of the word "apartment".
A condominium may be simply defined as an "apartment" that the
resident "owns" as opposed to rents.
CONDOMINIUM
A condominium is a collection of individual home units along with
the land upon which they sit.
Individual home ownership within a condominium is construed as
ownership of only the air space confining the boundaries of the
home .
The boundaries of that space are specified by a legal document
known as a Declaration, filed of record with the local governing
authority. Typically these boundaries will include the drywall
surrounding a room, allowing the homeowner to make some interior
modifications without impacting the common area. Anything
outside this boundary is held in an undivided ownership interest by
a corporation established at the time of the condominium’s creation.
The corporation holds this property in trust on behalf of the
homeowners as a group–-it may not have ownership itself.
CONDOMINIUM
A condominium consists of multi-unit dwellings (i.e., an apartment
or a development) where each unit is individually owned and the
common areas, such as hallways and recreational facilities, are
jointly owned (usually as "tenants in common") by all the unit
owners in the building.
A condominium also consists of bylaws that all the home owners are
supposed to follow such as indoor noise control.
It is also possible for condominiums to consist of single family dwellings: so-called
"detached condominiums" where homeowners do not maintain the exteriors of
the dwellings, yards, etc. or "site condominiums" where the owner has more
control and possible ownership (as in a "whole lot" or "lot line" condominium)
over the exterior appearance. These structures are preferred by some planned
neighborhoods and gated communities.
APARTMENT
An apartment (in American English) or flat (in British
English) is a self-contained housing unit (a type of
residential real estate) that occupies only part of a
building.
Such a building may be called an apartment building or
apartment house, especially if it consists of many
apartments for rent.
Apartments may be owned by an owner/occupier or
rented by tenants (two types of housing tenure).

characteristics
Apartments can be classified into
several types.
In North America the typical terms
are a studio or bachelor apartment
(efficiency or bedsit in the UK).
These all tend to be the smallest
apartments with the cheapest rents
in a given area.
These kinds of apartment usually
consist mainly of a large room which
is the living, dining, and bedroom
combined.
There are usually kitchen facilities as
part of this central room, but the
bathroom is its own smaller
separate room.
Pengertian Apartemen
1. Apartemen adalah ruang atau sekelompok ruang kamar
yang dimaksudkan sebagai pemukiman (tempat tinggal);
biasanya salah satu dari banyak kelompok yang sama di
dalam gedung yang sama.
2. Apartemen adalah suatu kelompok ruang yang
mempunyai kelompok unit yang sama dirancang khusus
untuk hunian.
3. Apartemen adalah semua unit hunian tempat tinggal
keluarga kecuali sebuah rumah tinggal berdiri sendiri
sabagai satu keluarga.
4. Apartemen adalah bangunan yang terdiri dari tiga unit
atau lebih rumah tinggal di dalamnya dan merupakan
suatu kehidupan bersama pada lingkungan tanah
terbatas, dan masing-masing unit hunian itu dapat
dimiliki atau dibangunan terpisah.
5. Apartemen adalah kamar atau beberapa kamar atau
ruangan yang diperuntukkan sebagai tempat tinggal,
terdapat di dalamnya suatu bangunan yang biasanya
mempunyai kamar atau ruangan-ruangan lain semacam
itu.

VILA APARTEMEN
Villa hidyatullah merupakan sebuah yayasan amal bakti santri pondok
pesanteren Hidayatullah. Berdiri sejak akhir dekade tahun 90 an. Pada
mulanya Villa yang terletak di jalan Indragiri VI desa Sumberejo, Kota
Batu Jawa Timur ini didedikasikan sebagai wadah menuntut ilmu umat
yang ingin memperdalam ilmu agama dan dakwah.
Namun seiring dengan perkembangan dan keinginan kemandirian
yayasan, maka masuk era tahun 2000 awal, salah seorang santri
dengan dukungan jamaah Hidayatullah berinisiatif untuk
mengembangkan lokasi Diklat hidayatullah menjadi sebuah sarana
open public yang memberikan fasilitas kondusif bagi pengembangan
SDM yang berpadu dengan rihlah atau rekreasi.
