Revelation 21:1-4
And I saw
a new heaven and
a new earth: for
the first heaven and the first
earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem,
coming down
from God out of
heaven,
Prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband. And I
heard a great voice out of
heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with
them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes;
and there shall be
no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there
be any more pain: for the
former things are passed
away.
And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make
all things new.
You may not
Have had a great past,
But you can have
a perfect future
Does God care?
I lost my job…
I have cancer…
My son has aids…
My child died…
I was abused...
The LORD hath appeared saying,
Yea, I have loved thee
with an everlasting love:
therefore with loving kindness
have I drawn thee.
- Jeremiah 31:3:
John 3:16 For God so loved
the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
I have surely seen the affliction
of my people…
and have heard their cry
for I know
their sorrows…
-Exodus 3:7
as a father pitieth his children,
so the LORD
pitieth them
that fear him.
- Psalm 103:13
OK, if God cares then…
Why doesn’t He help me?
I prayed and nothing
happened?
Where’s God?
God doesn’t leave us.
We leave
Him!
Isa:53:6: All we like sheep
have gone astray;
we have turned every one
to his own way;
and the LORD hath laid
on him the iniquity of us all.
You must admit you are lost...
to be found.
We are lost
No sense of right or wrong
Morality is relative
Don’t get the sanctity of life
Don’t know our owner
If sin is a non-issue then
the Savior is a non-issue.
...every one of us
shall give account
of himself
to God.
- Romans 14:12
we know that all things
work together for good
to them that love God,
to them who are the called
according to his purpose.
to be conformed to the image of his
Son
the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our
tribulation, that we may be able
to comfort them which are in
any trouble, by the comfort
wherewith we ourselves are
comforted of God.
: ... the sufferings of
this present time
are not worthy to be compared
with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
-Romans 8:18
...thou shalt forget thy misery,
and remember it
as waters
that pass away.
- Job:11:16
