Key Questions for Feedback
1.
Reviewing the current ELA standards, what is missing?
What should be added? What should be revised?
2.
In your experience and that of your colleagues, what needs to be
changed in the current ELA standards to update them and to make
them more relevant for our students now and in the future?
3.
Can you recommend names of candidates for our interdisciplinary
standards review research team and the ELA workgroup of content
experts?
4.
What would be the best strategy or method for SED and the Board of
Regents to use to engage schools, teachers, parents, and others in
this process?
