• Oakland Catholic beats Seton La Salle 19-13, Bella Alampi led with 8 goals, 1 assist, Katherine Smith had 3 goals, Katie Kush had 2 goals and 4 assists, Mary O’Brien had 2 goals and 2 assists, Julia Lewand and Elizabeth Walsh both added 2 goals.

JV won 6-4.

Newspaper

• • • The OC Eagle Eye is looking for editors to be on next year's newspaper staff. If you are interested in being an editor, please see Mr. Finnegan in room 205. Applications are due by Friday, May 8.

• • • Are finals and end of the year stress getting you down? Shake It Off with Taylor Swift at her Heinz Field Concert on June 6 th ! Purchase 1 ticket for $2 or 3 tickets for $5 during all lunch periods this Thursday only for a chance to win two tickets to Taylor’s upcoming show. All funds raised will go towards next year’s OC Eagle Lottery Calendar expenses.

Blood Brother

• The global awareness club will be selling tickets for this Thursday’s screening of the movie Blood Brother at all lunches. Tickets are $3 beforehand and $5 at the door.

• • The hallway outside of the lecture hall will be closed today, May 5, from 8:00 until 11:30 a.m. Any student who has a locker outside of the lecture hall please get all materials needed through 4th period. Students will be allowed to gather materials for afternoon classes during 5th period.

• The ultimate frisbee team finished their regular season with a win on Friday against Upper Saint Claire 15-4 and a win on Sunday against North Allegheny 15-1. Congratulations to all seniors and freshman Adison Statsowitsk. The team will move forward into playoffs defending the #1 seat and 7-0 record. Great job Eagles!

• • • Scott Harbaugh from Channel 11 news will be here on Wednesday to talk abou the changing landscape of Journalism and TV news with an emphasis on how the young generation is shaping the message.

The talk will be in the Lecture hall from 2:45 – 3:00.
