ROYAL PARKS
The Royal Parks
of London are
lands originally
owned by the
monarchy of
England or the
United Kingdom
for the recreation
(mostly hunting)
of the royal family.
Though Royal Parks
officially belong to
the Crown, they are
open to the public
free of charge. They
are very good places
for people to escape
from traffic jams,
crowded shops and
the city noise. Each
park has its own
character and is very
beautiful.
